LOGINRoxanne has always been treated like trash by her step family. They made her life a living hell, always berating her for being weak and powerless. Her only companion in the pack was Beta's son. He treated her right better than everyone in the pack and eventually she fell in love with him. She realized that they were mates and she couldn't be more than happy, but to her disappointment, he rejected her and chose her step sister. That was only the beginning of Roxanne's suffering, as her step father sold her off as a breeder to the ruthless Lycan King, Alejandro, a man notorious for his cruelty. She was forced to become a breeder against her will. With a heavy heart, she accepted her fate, determined to simply give the Alpha his pup, and leave the pack forever. But fate seemed to have other plans.

I was about to go inside the house, but I halted when I observed the elegant cars leaving the Alphaâs pack house. I was perplexed and surprised, because I know that my family can't possess such cars since they are too expensive.
I sensed a weird and strong aura within me but I couldn't tell who and what it was. Slowing down my pace, I went closer to the sitting room and heard my stepfatherâs voice, just when I was about to go up to my room.
âIn a few days, she would be out of our way for good.â The spit in his voice made me intuitively aware that the discussion was about me. After all, I was the only one he despised in the whole pack.
My heart was pounding from what I had just heard and I tried to be as calm as possible so I could comprehend what he was saying.
âAfter sheâs been picked up, Alpha Alejandro won't hurt our pack anymore because of the debt I owe him. He will forgive our sins and let us live. And the bitch would be out of our lives for good! What a good idea. Two birds, one stone.â Alpha Vanthorn continued.
âWhat was he talking about?â My eyes widened in disbelief and I started to tremble violently.
âI guess you are eavesdropping again, huh? A voice sounded behind me and I snapped my head around coming face to face with Alexa's nasty sneer.
Her glance was filled with scorn and loathing. I know how much she dislikes me. She despises me so fiercely that she wants everything that belongs to me. What would she possibly want from me?
Why will she be jealous of me? I don't enjoy good things like she did. I don't go to school, nor do I have any day to rest like she always did, so why would she be jealous? She was more beautiful than I am for heaven's sake.
I just did my best to avoid Alexa's wrath, and it upset me that I drew the attention of my step father, Alpha Vanthorn.
âRoxanne!â Alpha Vanthorn's voice sounded powerful, sending chills down my spine. I began to feel hot all of a sudden, but it did nothing to calm the coldness within me.
Realizing I was in for trouble, I attempted to run but it was too late. I was halted by Liam who pulled me by the hand. He was just coming in.
âAlphaâŠâ My voice quivered as I sucked in a deep breath attempting to control my fear and not dare to glance up at the faces of others in the room.
âI told you she is a snitch, but you didn't believe me. She is always hiding and eavesdropping on our conversation, she should be punished, father,â Alexa replied with a sneer. She has always enjoyed seeing me in pain.
âYou were eavesdropping on us, huh?â Alpha Vanthorn snarled.
âI swear by the moon goddess Alpha, I didnât do it. I was just coming inâ I said practically in tears.
Slap!
A big hit fell on my face, knocking me down and I sank to the ground, hearing my stepfatherâs furious roars.
âYou dare to call my daughter a liar? How dare you!?â Alpha Vanthorn roared and began to beat me fiercely. I can't believe that this was the man I have always loved as much as I loved my father. Who would have thought that he could act this way towards me now that my father was no more?
âNo, Iâm so sorryâŠ.. please forgive me⊠please stopâŠâ I pleaded as I curled myself on the floor with my hands up trying to defend the blows from landing on my chest.
âFatherâŠ. Please stopâŠâ I begged as the agony was getting too severe for me and my eyesight started to blur.
âPlease stop this, Alpha⊠sheâs going to dieâŠâ Nanny Olivia, attempted to plead with him but Alpha Vanthorn would not budge.
Nanny Olivia is one person who has always comforted me, telling me that all will be well. She was my nanny right from when I was a baby.
âShe lacks manners and I have to teach her some manners. Of what purpose is her existence to this family?â Alpha Vanthorn hissed in rage.
I slumped against the wall watching my stepfather in terror, fearful he might lift his hand to slap me again.
âWell, father,â Liam yelled, interrupting his father. âShe is of importance to us right now. You know what the plans are. In a few days, she will be out of our lives. Alpha Alejandro's wrath won't be upon our pack anymore and most of all, she will no longer be a concern to usâ My stepbrother, Liam, added with a grin.
Alpha Vanthorn's countenance went from fury to amusement.
âYou seem confused, stepsister.â Alexa stared at me with a gentle grin. âWhy donât you tell her, dad? I think she would love the news.â
I leaned back against the wall, startled at the sudden grin on their faces. If Alpha Vanthorn could grin then I was certain that it was of no good.
Alpha Vanthorn came closer to me, he raised my face, and extended his fangs causing me to recoil in fright.
âYou are going to carry out a little task for me, one that will be of help to all of us.â He paused, to clear his throat and he continued immediately.
âAlpha Alejandro has vowed to raid our pack and slaughter everyone because of the amount of money I owe him. But he has offered a twisted treaty: provide him with a 'special' maid and he will spare our lives. I'm sure you realize how much this pack has to be protected, or else we would all be dead. Including you,â
âFather!â I yelled, not believing what I had just heard. I was astonished, horrified, and silent. My gaze met those of Nanny Olivia. She felt awful for me but she turned her face away knowing she couldnât be of assistance to me.
Alpha Alejandro? The king of the most powerful pack in the whole of Tryone City? He was known for his brutality and disdain for worthless people, especially Omegas.
Even his wolf was rumored to be a monster that shreds his victims apart in a second. None of his servants survived there. There was a rumor that he killed his mate too.
He was the king of all Lycans and an Alpha of all Alphas with no compassion even at his old age. And that was who they wanted to send me to? How could they be so cruel to me? What have I done to deserve it?
âFather please, donât please, I promise to be on my best behavior.â In sobs, I summoned all of my remaining courage and appealed.
âRoxanne, donât bother stressing yourself begging my father, you donât have a choice. Your fate has been sealed alreadyâ Alexa chuckled.
âFather please, donât do this to meâŠ. Donât send me to him. I beg of you please ....â
âYou will do as I have asked you to and that is final!â Alpha Vanthorn yelled.
âLiam!â Alpha Vanthorn ordered.
âTake Roxanne to her room, ensure you lock the doors, she isnât allowed to leave the house. Alpha Alejandro's envoys would be coming back soon and I donât want to search for her.â
I couldnât hold back my tears, the sorrow I felt was excruciating. In less than a day, I have been cheated on and rejected by my mate, my step sister has been marked by my mate and now, my stepfather is selling me off to the Lycan king.
There was no way I was going to serve the ruthless Lycan King. I have to escape somehow. Before Liam could come closer to me, my vision blurred and I passed out.
ROXANNE The sun was bright as I stood before the mirror. My wedding dress was a simple, elegant white silk that hugged my nine-month-pregnant belly. It felt surreal. A few months ago, I was considered just an ordinary breeder, a walking incubator for the Alpha's child, I was in a dark dungeon, and now, I was preparing to be crowned Luna of the merged packs.I thought about the last few weeks. When I returned to Alejandro, I knew we had work to do. I had gone to him, not just because I missed him, but because I had a goal. I told him about the state of my old pack. Alpha Vanthorn, the man who had seized my fatherâs lands after his death, was ruling with an iron fist. I begged Alejandro to help me take it back.He didn't hesitate. He gathered his strongest warriors, and the siege on Vanthornâs territory was swift. Alejandro didn't want the land for himself; he did it for me. When he finally defeated Vanthorn and handed the keys of the pack back to me, I asked him to merge our packs
Roxanne had made her decision. The moment she regained enough strength to walk, she told Alejandro she was leaving the Pack; she couldn't stay anymore. She was sitting on the edge of the bed when he walked in, his eyes tired and desperate."You aren't going anywhere," Alejandro said, his voice hard but trembling. He stood by the door, his posture defensive. He couldn't bring himself to let her go.He knew she was still mad at him, but he was determined to seek her forgiveness and win her heart and trust back. However, that wouldn't be possible if she left him, and that was the last thing he wanted.âYou can't force me to stay, Alpha. I'm leaving.â"You have enemies, Roxanne. The rogues are still out there, and I have rivals who would love to use you to get to me. I cannot let you walk out of these borders.""I am not your prisoner, Alejandro," Roxanne replied, her voice steady. "I am not a weapon for your enemies, and I am not a trophy for you to guard. I am a woman who needs to brea
Inside the deep darkness of her coma, Roxanne was not resting peacefully. Her mind was trapped in a terrifying, vivid nightmare that felt completely real. She found herself standing in a beautiful green field under a strange, blood-red sky. A little boy, about two years old, with thick dark hair and bright green eyes, was running ahead of her. He was wearing a small white shirt and tiny pants, laughing happily as his tiny feet sprinted across the grass.Roxanne knew instantly, deep in her soul, that this little boy was her son."Wait! Sweetheart, please slow down!" Roxanne called out, running after him. Her legs felt heavy, like she was running through thick mud. Her heart was pounding with a sudden, unexplained fear. "Stop running, the ground is rough! Come back to Mommy!"The little boy didn't stop. He just laughed louder, looking back at her over his shoulder. He was moving too fast, much faster than a normal human toddler. No matter how hard Roxanne pushed her body, the distance
Back inside the Pack House, the silence in the medical wing was louder than any roar.Alpha Alejandro sat on a small wooden stool right next to Roxanne's bed. The room was clean and warm, smelling of medicine and clean linen, but he felt like he was still suffocating in the dungeon. He hadn't slept, he hadn't changed his clothes, and he hadn't washed the dried blood from his hands. He just couldn't leave the broken woman on the bed. His heart was bleeding with a pain he couldn't describe. He looked at his hands; the hands of a leader, the hands that were supposed to protect his people and realized they had been used to destroy his own family.âClara fooled me first, and I let Melissa use that to fool me again,â he thought, his head dropping into his palms. He felt an overwhelming wave of self-hatred. He had prided himself on being smart and strong, but he had been the biggest fool in the entire territory.âYour mother was right all along, Lucien.â His wolf hissed in annoyance. âIf o
Alpha Alejandro's POVâYou summoned me, your Majesty.â Elijahâs voice tore me away from my thoughts. I took my eyes away from the screen in front of me as I stared at him instead. âTell me, Elijah.â I leaned back on the chair. âTell me, what's your relationship with MY mate?ââYour mate?â He scoff
Four weeks laterâŠ.Roxanne's Point Of View âCongratulations, my dear.â Doctor Madonna said to me, her face beaming with smiles. âYou are two weeks pregnant.â She added. Of course I knew I was. I've been having continuous signs. The swollen face, the constant stooling and fatigue. All of it. And th
Roxanne's Point Of View âLet's go.â Lucia finally said after taking a deep breath. She looked really mad, and I needed no soothsayer to tell me why she was. If she was in my shoes, I'm sure she'd want to be out of here as soon as possible. Together, we walked into the elevator and we waited patie
Roxanne's Point of View âOh my goodness, Roxie.â Elijah exclaimed as soon as I walked into the room. He rose up from the bed as he made his way towards me. My brows furrowed into a frown. âWhat's wrong, Eli? Did something happen?â He looked really worried.âOf course, yes, you brat. I thought som
