Late Nights
ALIS P.O.V
Dinner went well; I was happy that Dillion and Dina got along with Mark really well. I was bummed that Matthew chose not to stay. I hope the two boys had a good meal for dinner; if we had come home sooner, then maybe Matthew would have chosen to stay. I’ll ask him the next time I see him. I laid on my bed after being freshly showered and closed my eyes. I looked at the clock and saw that it was near midnight; I was exhausted and looked forward to going to sleep, as soon as I stepped through my apartment front door after work.
Ring!
Ring!
Ring!
I groaned and picked up my phone, without looking at the caller ID.
“Hello?” I answered in a grouchy voice.
“Ali, it’s Matthew.” He answered back.

MATTHEW P.O.V“So, what did you do after you kissed her?” asked Mikey.Mikey came over to my house this morning, to talk about Ali and I. He didn’t know that I went to see Ali right after I left Sam’s hotel yesterday. So, when he came over, I told him everything and I regret every single second of it. Having to replay the memory and saying it out loud to Mikey, felt even worse; because it was a reminder of my mistake. I was basically mortified at what I did with Ali last night.
