Alicia stood staring at the setting sun at the end of a partly glass fence at the foot of the Taman Langit hill in Pangalengan, Bandung, not far from her village. The hill is about 1,600m above sea level and with a 360-degree view, it looks as if it is close to the sky and the sun, which is why sometimes Taman Langit is also called Kaki Langit. To get to the top, there is a long wooden staircase and it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the end of the hill and a special place is provided to be able to capture the sunrise or sunset.

Most people come here by renting a tent. The entrance fee is quite cheap at around 15,000 rupiah or $1 dollar, as is the rental of a motorbike so as not to walk too far for the same price.
