Chapter 5 A deal?

Brian was at a loss for words seeing Tiffany's behavior, finally he looked at Adrian who was standing next to Tiffany.

"Look! Look at her behavior Adrian! Wake up! Is a woman like that worthy of your defense? Tiffany! Drop the charges! Alicia is innocent! Why are you so heartless and cruel like this, huh? I knew it was you who set her up! What exactly did Alicia do wrong to you? Nothing, right? It's like I don't even know my sweet and kind little friend Tiffany! Why did you change?" Brian tried to chase after Tiffany who was also the best friend of the three of them since childhood, Adrian, Ace, and Brian, it's just that Tiffany had always been obsessed with Adrian that's why she always followed Adrian wherever Adrian went.

Tiffany, who was walking when she was about to get into her car stopped for a moment.

"Tiffany, the innocent and sweet girl you know, is gone! She was snatched away three years ago!" Tiffany said coldly and then without looking back got into her car. A driver opened the car door.

"Wait, Tiff! I'm coming with you!" Someone suddenly chased after Tiffany and got in and sat on the seat next to Tiffany just as the door closed as the car moved slowly.

"I thought you wouldn't want to come with me, but I was wrong!" Tiffany said casually.

"Tell me what you want so I can drop the charges and let Alicia go!" said a man's voice.

"I didn't expect that! It turns out you still care about her a lot! Even love her, don't you? After what you did?" Tiffany looked with an unusual gaze at the man who was now sitting next to her.

"I...." the man tried to say but fell silent again.

Tiffany waved her hand as if she didn't care, "Whatever! I don't care! I have one condition, if you want me to withdraw my claim!"

"What?" said the person again.

"Come closer...I'll whisper it!" said Tiffany with her devilish smile.

For a moment the man didn't hesitate, "Don't mess with me Tiff! Say it quickly! Or..."

Tiffany turned to the man beside her, "Or what? What do you want to do? You can't do anything without my help! And that poor girl will be in jail forever! It's up to you!"

Tiffany then crossed her arms over her chest and casually closed her eyes.

"Argh! Shit! Okay! Say it!" the man hesitantly brought his earlobe closer to Tiffany.

Tiffany turned her head and smiled, and then leaned closer and whispered.

"What?! You've gone completely mad! I don't want to!" the man said, shaking his head.

Tiffany casually shrugged her shoulders, "It's up to you, but...think...about that poor girl...."

"Arghh! Bugh!" The man slammed his hand into the side of the car and injured his hand. Tiffany was a little surprised, but then she quickly changed back to calm without turning her head as if she was not affected by it.

"Alright! I'll do it...but I have a request..." she said with a downcast look of deep sadness.

"Isn't this not the time to ask for something, dear?" Tiffany said softly while caressing the man's injured hand.

"Keep this a secret! Don't tell anyone, including my friends! And...I want to see for myself when she's released! Or we'll forget our deal! You know me, I'll find another way to free her!" the man said with a fierce look.

Tiffany swallowed her saliva. "Alright! Deal! Tomorrow morning I'll drop the charges!"

"Why not now? Why does it have to be tomorrow morning?" the man said in a displeased tone.

"Oh, honey...I'm so tired today! I want to rest! It's up to you! Will you accept it or not? Besides, if I pull it out tonight, don't you think it'll lead to questions from the police, right? That this is just a game? I don't want to be bothered and turn around and have them investigate me! It's a waste of my time!" Tiffany exclaimed, throwing her face towards the side of the car window.

"Isn't this a game, to you? You set her up on purpose, didn't you? You can't fool me, Tiff! I know you're not as innocent as Tiffany used to be! You're sneaky!" said the man.

"Hahaha...look who's talking! Aren't we the same, baby? You and I are a match made in heaven! Apparently, you know me very well! At least they don't, right? It's your own fault why that girl is hitting on you! I don't like it! You're only mine!" said Tiffany gently caressing the full lips of the man beside her with her finger and started kissing him hotly.

Suddenly Tiffany screamed, "Ow!!! Adrian! Why did you bite my lip?"

Tiffany felt her lips which were oozing liquid..her lips were hurt.

While the man who turned out to be Adrian turned around and sat straight forward and closed his eyes, "I'm not yours! I don't like mixing business with pleasure! So, remember that!"

"You! Ah, shit!" Tiffany cursed but as if she didn't care Adrian closed his eyes while putting the headset in his ears and started to fall asleep.

Tiffany began to smile. Her devil, "You think I care about you? If it wasn't for ..... I wouldn't have done it either!"

Unfortunately Adrian didn't hear her, and Tiffany began to close her eyes as the car continued to drive in the darkness of the night.

Meanwhile, Alicia, who was taken to the police station, continued to scream.

"Sir! Let me go! I'm innocent! I didn't steal it! I-I...I'm innocent!" Alicia shouted while crying behind the bars.

"Oh my God...why did this have to happen to me? Help me God! How am I going to account for this to my aunt, the college...." Alicia tightened her grip on the prison door as her tears continued to flow.

Alicia choked up as she remembered that tomorrow was her college exams again which made Tiffany panic, "Open! Open! Let me go! Please! I'm innocent! I have a lecture tomorrow! I have an exam! Oh my God...how is this!"

"Sir! Thump! Open up! Open up! Help me...I'm innocent! I didn't steal! I'm not a thief! I'm...not...a thief..." as Alicia collapsed, her body falling to the cold prison floor on her knees as she continued to sob and lament her unfortunate fate.

"Why do I have to experience so many unfortunate events in one day... hik hik..." Alicia continued to cry as she lay face down on the prison floor.

So many questions left Alicia exhausted that she unconsciously fell asleep on the cold floor of the prison, something she had never experienced before...it all seemed like a dream....

Her life changed 360 degrees in just one day…
