Meant to be

Mia's POV

My heart skipped when I saw him. He was talking to one of his employees. He is very handsome and I just can't stop thinking about him. He is Leo, a cold-hearted billionaire and CEO of one of the biggest tile companies here in the UK, and I'm here to apply for a job as a secretary in his company. 

I shifted in the seat and looked around to see the other girls trying so hard to get his attention. Some were trying to adjust their skirts properly while others were trying to do their makeup well. 

I just sat there doing nothing even though I was badly crushing on him. I was jealous that one of these girls would get his attention. 

He passed by us and we greeted him but he didn't respond. I'm not surprised I heard he is very cold-hearted. One of the employees came to announce that the interview had started. They started calling everyone one by one. 

It finally got to my turn and I stood up and went inside. 

I sat down and raised my head and saw him as one of the interviewers. My heart started beating but now is not the time, I need to get this job at all costs so I readjusted myself and they started asking me questions. 

He asked a lot of questions that were tough and cold but I tried to answer them all. Well, I did my best.

After my interview was done, I stepped out and decided to go home and rest. On my way, I called my best friend Lovia and she laughed at me for leaving my other company where I was doing so well and earning a lot just to come and work at Leo's company because I was crushing on Leo. I didn't care, I told her I would get him.

I drove home and went straight to my bed, I couldn't stop thinking and daydreaming about Leo.

You might be wondering how I got to know him. 

I am Mia and people always say I'm beautiful when they see me. I wasn't born into a rich family but I worked so hard to make it in life and I was one of the best sales and marketing consultants in my former company. I have my own house and car and I take very good care of my parents. I love them so much, especially my mum. She worked so much to help me achieve my dreams.

I left my former company because I had a crush on Leo, but on the brighter side, I will still get the same benefits I was getting from my former company because Leo's company is very big and their salaries are very high too. So I didn't care much about leaving my other job.

I met Leo one time at the hospital while I was in college. My mum wasn't feeling well and was admitted to the hospital so I was taking care of her. When he entered the hospital everyone was looking at him and people were talking about him. I fell in love with him at first sight. He was tall, very handsome, and very masculine, I just couldn't take my eyes off him. I went back to school thinking about him all through. I tried to search for him online and realized he was more than a celebrity. Wow! He was everywhere and everyone was talking about him.

I couldn't stop thinking about him even though I tried to get over him a lot of times it never worked. I even tried to date different guys but still, at the end of the day, I thought of him till I fell asleep. So I gave up and decided to find him and be with him.

I worked so hard to make it in life so I could be with him.

I studied hard and graduated with first class and a company called me to work for them. I worked hard while taking professional courses and getting promoted till I became one of the best consultants in my former company.

Oh gosh!! And here I am thinking about him again. I slept off while thinking about him.

Leo's POV

I was having a meeting with my interviewers to decide who will be my secretary. I always fire the secretaries because they always come so they can have an affair with me.

I love having sex with girls and fucking around but I don't do that with my workers. I make sure every relationship I have with my workers is strictly an employer-employee relationship and nothing else.

 I hate it when they try to force themselves on me.

We went through the personal information of the people who came for the interview and their answers and conduct during the interview.

I went through all and still realized they are all here just to have something to do with me.

We finally found one girl. I looked at her personal information and realized she looked beautiful and had a very impressive résumé, and then also her answers and conduct during the interview were okay. My other interviewers agreed with me. 

 And we decided to employ her.

I was tired for the day so I decided to go home and wash down and then step out for a drink with my best friend. My best friend is Ryan and we have been best friends since childhood. He always got my back and I always got him too. He is a general surgeon and I visit him often at the hospital.

I drove to my house and went in to wash down. I asked my maids to fix me a small dinner because I was really hungry. I ate and then called my best friend and we agreed for us to go out.

I picked him up and we went to the bar to drink and get some girls for the night. We had so much fun and came back home. I dropped Ryan off at his place and then came home to sleep. I was damn tired.
