Okay, maybe I had said something that was out of line, but the cold treatment I was suddenly getting as punishment from my drug lord boyfriend was more of being overdramatic. 

I didn't even say, in literal words, what I thought he was going to do when he started pulling his belt unceremoniously, I only asked a question and he went suddenly all stoic and icy. He wasn't even this way when I accused him of planning my ward's return to their mother, which was a more serious accusation as opposed to this, so I wondered where the new attitude came from.
