I assumed it would take no more than a half hour but with how Lucas's answers were dragging on it didn't seem like we would be leaving any time soon. Bella's Pov The softness of what felt like a thick cover had me internally sighing. I snuggled more into my blanket, enjoying how my back no longer hurt. My brows furrowed as I realized I actually had room and my body was no longer cramped. My hand rubbed what felt like silk sheets causing me to force my eyes open. I rubbed my eyes, forcing myself to keep them open even though they were still heavy. I had been fighting a losing battle for hours I could only assume. Bella's Pov Who would've thought that being locked in my room would be this peaceful. My father thought I would cave and be a good and obedient daughter. How horribly wrong he was because I planned to stay here until it was my yearly checkup. I would tell my lawyer that they locked me in my room even though I did my part by marrying Lucas. Than I would see if I could get the marriage annulled while still having access to my money. I would watch my grandfathers company burn to the ground because of my mother and father. I couldn't deny that if my mother would've listened to my grandfather and not have married my father, our lives would be better. Luckily my resolve was stronger than his seduction. "I don't want to talk. You need to leave now." I demanded sternly. "You can go to school and experience all of the moments your mother stole from you."
