The Disappointment

She was frozen on the spot upon hearing that her man is getting married already. Their relationship has not started yet and it's destiny is doomed. She inhaled very slowly to clear the pain that she felt in her heart.

Why she is affected so much she does not understand.She did not even have a conversation with the man,and yet her she is, getting affected by him getting married!

She must be very pathetic right now. All her problems were gone on her head just because of a handsome man! She swallowed a lump on her throat and tried to focus. Her mom and her sister needs her. She can't afford to lose her mom without a fight. Even though she's on the losing side, she doesn't mind. She just need to do more than her best until the last breath of her beloved mother.

She tried her best to stay calm and collected inspite of feeling hurt and disappointed. She barely listens to their conversation. She will be out of the restaurant as soon as they're done. 

She doesn't mind the overtime. It's an added income for her. She was pulled out from her thoughts when she realized the woman is talking to her.

"Sorry ma'am. I beg your pardon,"she asked nicely.

"Have you been working here for quite sometime? Because last month I haven't seen you here,"the woman ask.

"I'm new. I was employed exactly 26 days now."

"No wonder I haven't seen you here,"the woman commented. She just smiled and slightly bowed her head. She accidentally look at Jace and his gaze was very intent on her. She feels goosebumps crawling all over her body. Just the look from him and she felt like she is going to cum already,how much more his touch? She wonders how would it feels like. She shook her head to clear her mind and mentally told herself now is not the time to think of a man,a handsome man at that.

"How old are you?" Jace ask all of a sudden. She was disconnected for a few seconds but regain her presence of mind immediately.

"Twenty,"she answered shortly.

"Aren't you supposed to be in college yet?"Jace asked again.

"It's a long story to tell. And I bet there are more pressing matter that would be needing your attention Sir. Maybe some other time if there'll be any, I will tell my story,"she answered very politely with her head down.

She can't look him in the eye and not get hurt with the idea that he will marry someone in a few days.

Jace stood up and took his wallet from his pocket. He pulled  five hundred dollar bills and put it down on the table.

"The rest is yours after the bill." And with that he just walk out of the room. The other two followed him but the lady gave her a wink before marching out also.

Amanda thought it was not lady-like at all to wink but the lady looks cute winking like that. She smiled inwardly. She looked at the money on the table and frowned why did he gave her so much. Whatever his motives is, she's grateful of the added tip.
