CASSIE'S POV

This really went as I wanted.

Blair must be boiling in rage right now.

She hasn't seen anything yet; I'll make sure even Grandpa George detests her more than anything in this world.

Even Raymond, I will never allow him to go near her.

“Ray, what will you do about Blair now?"

I caressed his beard, giving him a worried look.

“She has chosen the path which you told her not to."

Sighs.

“I know how you feel right now, but don't be upset, I am here to make you happy."

Just a night with Raymond might change my life.

If I get pregnant for him, his grandpa won't be able to send me out of the house when I decide to move in with them.

But Raymond won't just sleep in the same room with me, I don't know why.

“I think I'll go bring her back."

Bring her back?

That is impossible!

“Blair won't go with you."

He looks at me surprisingly.

“You might not believe this, but I spoke with her yesterday about going back to your house, but she refused to listen to me,”

"She said she'll

~BLAIR~Is this a blessing or a curse? My fingers trembled with the pregnancy test strip as I stared at the two red lines through my vision blurred with tears. What have I done? How could I let this happen? My marriage with Raymond is only based on a contract. How is he gonna react to this? I wiped my tears, holding in a deep breath to control my heartbeat. My memory flashed to that night a few weeks ago, of Raymond suddenly barging into my room, drunk and haggard.I doubt if he even remembers. He never spoke about it.I don't even know how he feels about it!Running all fingers through my hair, I sniffed back my tears as all negative emotions flooded my mind. What will Raymond's reaction be like? Will he be angry? Will he accept it?But, what if he actually likes this baby? What if he'll be willing to accept it? Standing up, I touched my tummy, a mix of anxiousness and fear compounding my chest. Well, Raymond should know about it.Maybe… Just maybe, he'll accept our baby. And

I gasped. His words are like bombshells and I actually pinched myself to make sure I'm not dreaming.D- Divorce? “B- But…” I stammered, suddenly losing the ability to speak. I don't understand his words.Maybe I do, but I can't bring myself to digest them.“I know, our contract is supposed to end in three months,” Raymond continued, his tone dry. It's as if he couldn't wait to tell me this. As if he has come right here after waking up to lift this load off his shoulder.Did I do something wrong? Did I fail in pleasing him? Why does he want a divorce all of a sudden? As I grappled with confusion, Raymond reached out and patted my hair. It's as if he can read my mind. “You've done a good job. In fact, I'll double your pay. Get ready. We'll meet Grandpa later. Remember our initial plan.”Our plan is to divorce after the contract ends. I'll tell his grandfather that I can no longer be with him, and Raymond will happily release me.No- I can't. I grabbed his hands, almost instinc

Is this one of Cassie's pranks? She's definitely pulling my legs. She'll never-“What better way to make you fall into my trap easily?” Cassie shrugged. “You needed the money and the contract came in handy.”“No! You didn't!” Anger surged through my veins.I shot forward and grabbed her. “Cassie, why!?”I can't help the tears that burst out, thinking back to those days full of horror and fear. I'd literally begged her for money. I knelt in front of her family's home all night, but neither Cassie nor her father were willing to offer a penny for help. Imagine my happiness when Raymond stepped in instead and offered the contract. I've always regarded him as my father's savior. Was he part of this plan? I lost control of my emotions and shook her. “You're a crazy maniac! I can't believe Mum is your real mother.”Our mother was so kind and compassionate. No way she would have given birth to this monster! What if my Dad had died that day? All because of her stupid revenge plan, she'd

…~RAYMOND~Damnit! Did I mess up?I wiped my face in frustration as I chugged down my final glass of beer. Blair confessed that she loves me. I can't believe it. I haven't been myself ever since she said those words, ‘I love you.’She doesn’t mean them, does she? What am I even doing here when I should be searching for her? It has been three days and she hasn't returned.Ever since she left that morning, she never showed up again. I can't reach her on the phone because she left it at home.Maybe I shouldn't have said those words. But seeing what she did to Cassie, I completely lost it. Cassie has suffered a lot. Blair has always made her life difficult, yet, she does her best to please her. I can't fathom how a sibling will hate the other so much. “Dude, you haven't answered my question.” Daryl snapped his fingers, breaking me out of my thoughts. “What's beating you up? The man's expression shifted from disbelief to hate. He looked as if he would murder me on the spot.“What's with the gloomy face?” His Grandfather butted in, staring at him with a frown. “Isn't that what you came to tell me?”Raymond’s dark expression transformed into normal. It was obviously difficult for him to pretend to be happy as he constantly sent secret glares in my direction. He sat down beside the old man as well and murmured, “Blair and I haven't thought it over yet. We'll discuss and-”“If you haven't thought it over, why come to me?” Grandpa George cut him off, giving him an incredulous look. “Or is it that you're here for something else?”His Grandfather probably has guessed what brought us.It must be why the old man looked wary when we came in. He didn't allow Raymond to speak further. Turning to me, he took my hands. “That's very thoughtful of you, Dear. You see, I've been lonely for so long. CASSIE'S POVNow I have to leave this house.Dang it!I didn't plan it this way, I wanted to take over Raymond and make him marry me. This old man has ruined my plan. I thought he listened to Raymond,I thought if he saw me, he would be happy that Raymond was happy with me. But no, Blair had managed to make the man like her. I have no voice now other than to leave, but this isn't over. I'll make my way back into this Mansion once more, and when I do, no one can stop me from marrying Raymond. His Grandpa?PffffWho cares about the old man?He can die anytime soon, that will even be a bonus. Phone rings! And who could that be?I am not in any mood for anything unserious right now. Nevertheless, I decided to check who the caller was to see if I could answer the call or not.Oh, wait, it's Blair's Dad. What on earth does he want now?“Hello, Cassie, how are you?"Just go straight to the point, dude. “I am doing great."“That's good. You haven't stopped by to see me, I have been

I'd totally forgotten Grandpa wanted to see me at his apartment until he sent a maid to call me. “Since you claimed you didn't divorce her, then why didn't you go after her when she left the house?" Grandpa asked, looking at me suspiciously. What would I say?I am just a fool. I wanted to go after her, to bring her back two days after she left, but Cassie kept telling me to leave Blair alone. She said Blair was just upset and she would come back by herself And yes, I believed what she said and ignored Blair even though I knew where she was Alicia told me so. "I am listening.” Oh, yes. "I thought giving her some time to reflect on herself would be better.”"And you think she will return to this house by herself?” I nodded my head and he laughed. " Indeed, you don't know the way of women. You see, your carelessness made her decide to be an independent woman.”He shook his head. "If I knew Blair was my Friend's granddaughter, I would have taken good care of her."“But you al

Whoa!Didn't I warn her not to try this shit? Now, my family will see this, and we'll have problems.Oh Gosh! What is she trying to do?I thought she'd come back to her senses, realize what she had done, and then come back to apologize. But no, she chose to humiliate me.“Raymond!"Oh God!Just what I have been running away from. “Where is Raymond?"Grandpa screamed my name from the living room. I was inside the study room and I could hear him clearly. “Where is that dumb boy?"As I stood up from the chair to answer his call, he kicked the door open with his leg and came in supporting himself with his walking stick. “So you've been hearing my voice, but have refused to come out, right?"“Grandpa, I…"“Spare me the trash!"He threw a paper at me.“What is wrong with you, Raymond? • Messed With The Wrong Heiress    74. Picking up a broken heart.

It has been almost two weeks since I moved out of Raymond's house and I can say it was the best decision I made so far. I now have peace of mind, doing things I love, and eating the things I like. Back at Raymond's, I was only allowed to take certain foods because I was pregnant. But here, I eat what I crave all the time.If I knew my life outside Reece's mansion would be this great, I would have left for a very long time now. But no, I couldn't leave because of a man. Funny.I haven't stepped out of the mansion ever since I arrived, I am always inside the house, walking around, sleeping, eating, and playing games with my P. A and some other maids. They are all lovely, running to my every call, and keeping me company all the time. But I am being careful not to allow anyone so close to my life as I did with Alicia. I don't want another heartbreak anymore. Alicia has taught me a great lesson, never to trust anyone again. Since I moved in here, the P. A had wanted me to tell him

Was that what she was telling him inside the car? He doesn't even care that Cassie was talking to me that way.Raymond opened the door for Cassie and she entered the car, giving me a mocking look. Then he proceeded to the driver's side and sped off from there, leaving me in the street. I was frozen, shocked that Raymond could do that to me. “Ma'am?"I took in a deep breath and then returned to the car. Raymond doesn't care about my feelings anymore. He thinks everything is happening because of me. He now believes I have another guy in my life who is not him.I can't take it any longer. If he won't listen to me now, who knows what will happen in the future? He can come get his child in the future, but for now, I'd rather leave him than see him with Cassie every day. “Give me my phone." Alicia reached for the phone inside the bag and handed it over to me. I dialed my P. A number, put it on speaker and placed the phone on my thigh while holding the steering wheel with both of m

“Ma'am?"Alicia called again with a shaky voice. I ignored her, thinking she was going to ask another question or say something that Cassie was hiding things from me. I am done talking about Cassie; I just want to focus on one thing: how to make Raymond understand the person who sent the gift is trying to ruin our relationship. “Ma'am?"Alicia called again, this time, she tapped my arm. I turned to her direction, trying not to get angry at her. “Look over there." She pointed to our right, where other cars were parked, too, because of traffic. What could she have seen that'll make her that scared? I followed her finger, and there, inside a black jeep, was Raymond. He wasn't alone in the car, someone was there with him. That person can't be a guy, Raymond is doing the driving by himself. So he left the house?I didn't even know that. I thought he was in his study room or rather, Grandpa George's apartment. And who is that sitting in the passenger seat? It's a lady. “Alicia,
