Chapter Eight: Stayed up all night

“Make sure you get across to the Managing director of the overseas branch before tomorrow,” Justin ordered as he stood up from his seat and walked out of the room.

“Good luck with that Feisty,” Austin wished and also walked out of the room,

Jasmine sighed deeply as she gathered the files on the table. She checked the time and saw that it was already eight p.m.

She was beyond tired but she knew rest was far from her. She had just gone through three meetings respectively which lasted for five hours.

Prior to that, she had been going through the endless files Justin gave her to sort. And what made her angry was the fact that the idiot didn’t try to help her. Rather, he gave her additional tasks which interfered with her work.

She finished gathering the files and headed outside the conference room. She headed straight to Justin’s office as he had to sign some files. She entered after knocking but he was nowhere to be found.
