Chapter Thirty Eight: Chloe Baxter

“What are you doing?” Justin asked Jasmine in a cold voice. He had told her before leaving her room to get dressed. Twenty minutes later and she still hadn’t gotten dressed. She hadn’t left the position he left her in.

This got Justin a bit irritated. Maybe buying her a phone was not a really good idea.

“I was talking to Ella before you snatched my phone away from me,” Jasmine answered, acting as if Justin’s annoyed look didn’t have any effect on her.

“You know, I bought you this phone, I can take it away,” Justin asserted.

“That’s not how gifts work. You clearly said that the phone was for me and so you have no right to take my phone away from me,” Jasmine retorted and tried to reach for her phone.

Justin however raised his hand up making it impossible for Jasmine to reach it as he was much taller than her. “No, I said the bag was yours, not the phone,” he pointed out.

“Give me my phone, I want to read Ella’s message,” Jasmine protested as she jumped up, trying to reach her phone.
