Chapter Twelve

My dad had placed different guards to watch me for the past Five days on a straight, to say it’s aggravating and annoying would be putting it nicely.

I really miss going out and going to the library, drinking milkshakes, Ebony and walking by the sea ugh, I’m sure Benjamin must be wondering if I’m okay or something, well Ebony wouldn’t remember she knew me until she was in my presence which is something I’ve been wondering if I should stop doing, altering her memory of me, but then she’d want to know where I go at the end of the night and explaining that would mean outing myself and our kind and I don’t know if she can handle that or if I can trust her with my secret just yet.

I don’t think it’d be difficult to give them the slip and go out but it’s the fact that they’d realize my presence is missing at some point and I really can’t deal with another run in with my father over my disobedience.
