Chapter 25.1: Innocence has left the chat

From the corner of the road, not too far away from the Wooden Lord bookstore, Aiden looked at the girl who had humiliated him in front of the entire school and his brother... happily chatting and flirting together in the middle of the road!

The more he looked at this sight, the more unsightly it looked. The more wronged he felt.

So this was the reason why Jake relapsed?

And why does Ryder brutally turn him down in front of a whole ass crowd?

Unspeakable anger welled up in his chest. He felt as though he was about to explode from rage, but there was no one around for him to vent on. Ryder had already gone inside the bookstore and Jake got into the car with Jeremy, driving away. Only he was left on the other side of the road, fists clenched tight and veins popping up...

And even if Jake hadn't left, he couldn't cause a scene right in the middle of the street. Aiden tried to convince himself that it wouldn't be nice to jump on his brother with the eyes of strangers passing by him.
