Leaving my heart behind
I feel the horror as my mate drops to the floor, I feel the sudden loss I can also feel Blaze withering in agony inside me, a tear runs down my cheek and I feel a hatred i have never felt before but on top of my hatred I feel Blazes hatred and as I stand there the clouds start rolling in and the thunder starts to crack the wind is blowing as I scream " YOU WILL BOW TO ME" everyone stops and turns to me, everyone then drops to there knees, all Jonas wolves are whimpering before me, I can feel my eyes changing between mine and blazes "Beth its time, now its time for me to step forward " "Blaze what do we do?" i sob but its Blazes voice that snaps me back to what needs to be done "NOW WE KILL TO AVENGE OUR MATE" and with that i feel my insides start to twist, i close my eyes and drop to my knees as i feel Blaze taking over and as i rise up to my full height there are gasps through out the crowd but i pay them no mind as i turn to follow the next person who will die , "BETH" Gem calls ,

I jolt awake in the cold damp cave im sleeping in, i dreamed of Lukes last minutes alive, i saw the silver blade wizz through the air and embed itself into the love of my life, i saw him drop to the floor, as i watched him die my heart stopped my heart shattering, tears streaming down my face, i feel so empty, i have let blaze take over for the last few days, not that it really made much difference all we did was mope from one place to the next, at night i would sleep in human form to give Blaze a break, i would just curl into a ball and lie there more often than not staring at the cave wall and if i did eventually fall asleep i was haunted by night mares of Lukes last moments or of him calling me through the mind link, which i think is broken somehow, i keep getting Luke call me through the link, at first i listened or answered but as soon as my senses caught up to me and i realised i was talking to the dead, my world shattered all over again, so i had to block him out or i wouldn'

I see the shadow of whoever has dared come into my cave and without a second thought i lunge at them, as i lunge i get a familiar scent of wood and cherry, at first it shocks me but then it makes me angry that someones got the same scent as my Luke so without thinking i launch myself at them, they grab me mid air but i manage to swing my fist and catch them in the face, the growl they release urges me on "grrrrrrrrrr" and im hitting them as they try to speak but i don't give them a chance i dont want to listen to them "stop,wait,please"But there pleading just makes me angry until they slam me against the cave wall but not willing to go down without a fight i sink my teeth into there exposed neck and hold on as tight as i can drawing blood"Princess"That one little word whispered to me softly makes me stop and pull back, then i look the intruder in the face for the first time"Bu bu it cant be" i whisper softly"Princess its me"Luke carefully lowers me to my feet

Epilogue:Watching from the doorway i listen to my darling husband tell our story and i have to admit since the day he walked into the school my life has never had a dull moment, even getting back from the mountains wasn't a quiet affair apparently i had been missed so a party was quickly whipped together and we enjoyed a night with friends and family although me and Luke were exhausted from our journey we didn't want to upset people by leaving early, once we could slip away we both collapsed in bed and refused to move until noon the next day, if im honest i was enjoying Luke a bit too much but eventually we had to get out of bed.We then had to sort the prisoners, most wanted nothing more then to join our pack and we made the decision to give them all a trial period before accepting them, some just wanted to be on there way, it turned out that Lucas was blackmailing most of them and that a few had familys they just wanted to get back to so we let them on there way with th
