Twenty Nine

Sienna Williams stood near the bar, holding a glass of champagne that she hadn’t even taken a sip from. It was that smile on Gisela’s face—so composed, so serene—that made Sienna’s skin itch with discomfort. How could she be so calm after what she'd done?

George was dead.

Damien had delivered the news to her right before the ceremony. The man she just had an unpleasant altercation with, was gone. Just like that. They ruled it out as suicide because he was found in his apartment with a bullet to the head and a note next to him. But Sienna knew that Gisela had something to do with it.

But now was not the time to dwell on it. She had to keep it together especially as Natalia DeMarque strode toward her. Sienna tore her gaze from Gisela and with a steadying breath, she forced a smile on her face.
