“Zoe, are you still planning on going back to the states?” Mom suddenly asked as we were having our breakfast. I looked at ZG and Zia, while my daughter was stuffing her face with bread, my son looked at me as if waiting for the answer to his grandma’s question.

“I don’t really have any plans as of this moment, mom. I’m on indefinite leave at work, but I don’t know if I can get a job here.” I said to them and they all looked at me as if they couldn’t believe what I was saying.

“Zoe, seriously? That’s what you’re worried about?” Zab suddenly asked me like I was saying something dumb. “You’re an heiress of one of the biggest business empires in the country, and you’re thinking that you couldn’t find a job here?”
