NINA'S POV:

My mum in anger raised her hands up and smacked me as I was seated on the floor in dismay and she was about to continue when I yelled in pain and frustration,

“I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO ROSS!” My mother stopped and took slow steps backwards, her face turned blank as she stared at nothing in particular.

Then she did a double take and stared at me, sniffling and holding onto my arm. She struck and rocked back and forth.

“So whose blood is all over you? ARE YOU LYING TO ME?” She came at me again but I wiped my eyes so fast and roughly, getting frustrated by my mother.

“You see your child like this and all you can keep doing is yelling at her? What sort of a mother are you?” I questioned, looking at her in disbelief but she gave me an emotionless expression, then repeated her previous question.

I sucked her teeth sharply wiping my eyes, “Okay, I will tell you what happened.”
