Chapter 45: After Dinner (I)

I had been there before but tonight, this place seemed completely strange and unknown to me. And I knew it had everything to do with my nerves.

I jumped up when I felt Alex’s warm hand wrapping around my calves and putting them up on his legs. I watched him with big, questionable eyes when he started taking off my heels. “Alex, what are you doing?” I tried to pull my legs back but he gripped them tighter.

Alexander smiles reassuringly. “Just relax, baby.” And my eyebrows shot up as there’s something very wrong in this situation.

When he had my feet bare, he put his hands on them and started to lightly massage them. I threw my head back, my eyes rolling back and a moan escaped from my lips. I clamped my mouth shut when I realized what I did and I peeked at Alex only to see that he was now very still, his hands were unmoving and he watched me, his eyes wide open.
