The helicopter could be heard landing somewhere way in the back of the property. Cat had no idea of where it was going but she knew for sure that Della was most definitely on it. Caine was so distraught about the fact that Mister had managed to steal Della from him, yet again, that he had been shifted into his dragon form for hours. He was flying desperately back and forth, in a grid pattern over the area above the entire castle grounds. His pitiful roars and cries could be heard echoing all over the mountain, and down into the valley below. It was a hollow and sad cry, so very sad that the sound of it made you want to hide, for fear that it might actually suffocate you. Caine and the Queen had been so wrapped up in getting Della to the doctor, that they didn't even care where Mister, Pearl and Justin had gone. Mister took that opportunity to escape them and get back to his great grandmother's castle. He made it back to find that Pearl and Justin had either hidden themselves very well, or left all together. It didn't matter to him either way at the moment, though, because he wasn't there for them. He only briefly looked around as he made his way to the master bedroom to retrieve the book that he had stashed back in its original hiding place under the floor. Once again he pulled the rug back, lifted the board, and reached inside. He felt around in the darkness, but he didn't find it. He just figured that he was missing it because it was dark, so he reached for the flashlight and looked again, but it still wasn't there. He sat back, angry and confused as hell. It was early morning when Della woke up back in the hospital wing. Mister was in a panicked tizzy, frantically trying to make sense of what was happening to him at the moment. He tried to get away from the presence and out of the bedroom door, but it was no use. Mister was stuck in a complete state of shock and dismay over what he was reading in his great grandmother's diary. It was full of information, but most of the details he could have lived without. Apparently her aunt's name was Morana, and she was the second born on her father's side. She clearly had no blood rights to the crown, but would have been next in line before Esmeralda was born because there was no one left alive on her mother's side. Once he got past all of the preliminary events and early squabbles, he got to the meat of the story. The new queen sat emotionless through her parents' funeral, and again through her own coronation. She smiled and waved on cue, and she gave the speeches like she was supposed to, but she was really just stuck on autopilot. She was so consumed with guilt, and her plan to destroy her aunt, that she was completely lost to everything else in her life. She stopped cooking like she used to, and her gardens all died. She even withdrew from her family. That's when she had her little castle built on the back of the property and she began to spend her days and nights drinking wine and conspiring against Morana.
