LUCAS'S POV

I followed the police officer out of the office. The doors slid open and the bright sun beamed into my eyes. My securities hovered towards the police me but I signaled them not to make a scene.

The media being here was already enough drama to hold by so I instructed them to not interrupt the police men. I smirked as the cameras flickered, giving a proud smile for the camera shots.

I just hope they did get the right camera angle for me. I didn't want to find myself in the headline of a magazine with a poorly taken picture of me being ushered by the police. Just as I approached their vehicle, I caught the sight of the emergency bus and smirked.

I still had some unfinished business with that pimp. I strutted casually over to their parked car and turned authoritatively to the police officer. He hesitated before opening the door for me and I entered the car.

The ride down to the police department was slow, safe for the blaring sound of the siren. At one point, I turned my gaze

LUCAS’S POVAccording to a quick search I made with my assistant, Darwin, I found out the duffus’s name was Timothy. I chuckled darkly feeling the weight of the gun in my pockets. My bloodstreams tighten as I stepped out of the elevator. In case you're curious, I was on my way to his ward in the huge New York hospital and with the mention of the gun I bet you already found out the main purpose of my visit.Behind me were my right and left hand men, they were all dressed in black clothes hovering behind me as we walked down the hallway. I stretched my gaze over to the long hallway, the highlights had been turned off since it was already evening but the secluded golden light did just right to set the mood.As I walked past the rooms, I heard noises— annoying noises, either a groan from patients or snores. The calmness in the air irritated me as I released a low smirk.I didn't have to worry though, with a silenced gun, I'd wish Timothy an eternal goodnight. My mind was still reeling wi

My gaze flickered over to the door, it creaked open slowly and low and behold, it was a nurse. She looked dainty, dressed in a nurse uniform and a face striped with fear and shock. My fists clenched as I tried to hold it back, the rage in my was rising with each passing second. That idiot, Timothy, stayed there, eyes wide with fear and shivering. He had nearly escaped death but that doesn't mean I wouldn't still come back to kill him. He was lucky, my victims don't actually last this long and there he was, spending extra seconds out of the time I'd picked to kill him.I flickered my gaze to my wrist watch and grunted lowly. Fuck. The time was almost eight and seeing Timothy pant fueled my rage. The fear in his eyes tell m

LUCA'S POV.My assistant's voice caused me to freeze. The stripper was already seated on my laps, grinding seductively. I tried to hold back the urge rising in my veins but it raged harder effortlessly. Seeing her grind her ass on my crotch really did strike something in me— something dark and violent.A visit with the president sure could wait. Besides I had to prepare to face my old man after all these years and it's best to let off some tension. I gripped her waists causing her to pause in her movement, my fingers traveled up her spine until I had them tangled in her shimmering blonde hair.I pulled it sharply causing her to release a a gasp. Fuck. The soft smell of her shampoo in my nostrils drove need through my veins. I tugged harder at her hair watching as she moaned loudly, leaning relentlessly with her back arched on my chest. “Umm.” Her moans trudged through the room, filling me with more interest. I gripped her chin, rubbing my thumb on her lips.I watched her bite back a

LUCAS’S POVI walked into the car flanked by my usual entourage. The air outside the police station really did sound and feel nice. I could still feel the weight of my gun in my pockets as I walked out of the double doors of the station's main block. That stripper— lovie or whatever the fuck her real name was had annoyed me by doing the one thing I hated the most and the best way to pay her back was to give her the best punishment there was.Death.“The ride is ready sir,” Darwin, who stood close to me turned to my side. I nodded softly, turning my gaze to the sight of the car parked outside. The car was painted all black just the way I liked it. I strutted up to its figure and paused taking a moment to stare at the car. It was definitely one that came off my cargo which was recently dropped from Russia.Darwin hovered to the door and opened it wide for me to enter. The door chimed open and I stepped into the car, the warm air enveloping me. The warmth from the leather braced my skin,

A dark grin tugged at my lips, my gaze flickering to the sight of the familiar man on the bed.He had aged quite far from the last time I saw him. His hair, which was once vibrant black was now bleached white, soft wrinkles here and there but overall, I could still see the face of the one man who disowned me years ago in his vibrant green eyes.I know you're expecting me to talk about how much of an easy going person my father was but I'll rather tell you a different story. He was the first person in the world to shun me— the first person to ever pick someone over me.He picked him over me.He did that when we were kids and now, I wouldn't let history repeat itself. LUCAS'S POVIn that swift moment, I watched the president being wheeled out of the room into the theater. I rushed alongside the speeding nurses but paused before the ICU unit. I watched the theater's lights flicker red.It didn't take up to a minute before I saw the doctor who was stepping in. “Is anything wrong doc?” My voice was stern, cold. The doctor, an Asian man in a doctor uniform, stared back at me with wide doe eyes.“He had another attack.” I heard the doctor say. “And at this point it is very crucial at this point. The president's heart can not take—” I listened attentively, taking in the details and the information he was spilling but just before he could complete his speech, I heard the sound of footsteps speeding into the hallway.I stiffened, maintaining my stance. I already knew it was Xavier running down the hallway and just then, I heard the sound of his panting. I turned, staring at him from the side of my eyes. It was obvious the hospital had sent out a notificat

The nurse that had called had a shaky voice that added to my worry.I shuffled through the parking lot with Alex, my assistant, running behind me trying to catch up but I was too fast. I paused in front of one of the cars and turned to him to give me the car keys. “Are you going to be okay sir? Darwin, my assistant hovered close to me as I made my way from the parking lot over to the mansion's door.It glistened under the soft rays of sunlight, clear tall glass's that chimed open and close automatically. My mind was still fixed on Xavier and that doctor, they were both hiding something— something crucial.Just as I walked past the door, I heard Darwin's voice. “After the visit with Madame Browne, you have another one—” Just as he was about completing his words, I interrupted him, “Clear my schedules tonight,I have somewhere I have to be.”I strutted past the huge living room, the maids in the mansion turni

I called out, my voice uncertain as I held my breathed and waited for a reply. “Baby, Mommy's home.”Nothing. Usually, she would come running into my arms the moment she held my voice, but....I dropped my bag onto the floor, not caring where it landed, and bolted up the stairs towards her room. Her bedroom door was slightly opened, and I pushed it open fully, my heart pounding. It was empty.Everything was the same way I had left in in the morning. The bed was made, the curtains drawn, her favorite stuffed bunny sat untouched on the pillow. My throat closed in panic.I dashed to the bathroom, too, but she was nowhere to be found. She wasn’t here.Where could she have gone? She never left the house on her own and I’d made sure she knew never to open the door for anyone unless it was me or her father. Where could she be?My legs started to

I was halfway through taking a sip of my drink when all of a sudden, I heard her voice. My blood ran cold almost immediately as I whipped my head in her direction. “W-why are you here?” I questioned slowly with my fingers tightly clutching the glass cup in my hands as I placed it back on the counter. As I uttered the words, two arms snaked around my neck as the soft smell of roses washed into my nostrils. I turned my head in the direction of one of the ladies who was standing close to me as I whispered into her ears. “Stop that.”The arms slithering around my neck uncoiled almost immediately as the girls pulled back. The soft jazz music blurring into the air stopped playing as Madame Browne walked towards me. Her shoes clapped against the floor and the sound echoed repeatedly against the four walls of my room as I held in breath.Iit was obvious she was here wit
