She was so tensed, standing next to me like that. I mean, I could feel her nervousness radiating through her in waves.

She was dressed in pyjama shorts and a matching shirt. It was not Laila's. I had made some workers go shopping for her size of clothes. She covered her fit with the Apron that Sofia normally wore, whilst her beautiful hair hidden in the bonnet she wore.

Thing was, I never ate anyone's food, aside from Sofia and her late mother who had been working with us since I was a child. My parents both died at a point, but they did not leave. Priscilla trusted me enough to still stay and continue working for me even after I told her that she could leave if she wanted to.

She stayed, even as dangerous as being around me was.

I did not know if my taste buds could ever adapt to something different, but I was willing to try her. Something told me this would be good, or at least, worth it.
