In a hailstorm, Henry drove down to my house when I didn't pick up his calls. Nathan had come down with a terrifying fever, it had suddenly happened overnight, and I was too unsettled to have heard my phone ringing.

When Nathan had calmed to sleep, I prepared hot coffee for Henry as he kept himself warm by the fireplace.

"Here." I handed over the mug.

"Thank you." He muttered, his eyes sparkling at me.

"Thank you for coming." I thought I should appreciate him.

"Anytime." He smiled.

My phone rang. It was an anonymous number, but by reading the text message, I knew it was Ethan. The motherfucker wouldn't let me be!

"I want to see my lawyer," I gritted, I was getting annoyed with each passing moment when Ethan sends a message that made no sense and was out of context.

"I see Ethan has not relented." He nodded to himself.

"Yes and, moreover, I need to take back the company. He doesn't deserve it." My eyes were fixed on Nathan's piano, which stood very close to the hearth.
