Cassius Turner Spraggins!

How could I miss their physical resemblance? Luther and Cassius were brothers. I couldn’t believe it. I looked down at Cassius, studying his facial features. He had a chiseled jaw, a straight nose, and long eyelashes, the same as his brother. But Cassius had softer features than his brother. He looked charming when he smiled. He was more like a boy who could make you laugh with a snap of the fingers. But Luther was more like a beast who would not think twice before snapping your neck.

I placed my hand on Cassius’s head and caressed his dark hair gently. He was still unconscious. His back, arms, and legs were marked with welts and bruises. I couldn’t brush the images when Luther was whipping him. How could he do this to his brother?

He had no heart.

He was cruel!

I hate him!

Suddenly, the door opened, and a man in a white coat stepped inside. I immediately stood up and let the doctor examine Cassius.
