Chapter 12

We reached the portal and all of us ran into it before the Kings changed their minds and really did want a war. After passing through the portal, we saw cops by my truck and we ran down there to stop them from towing my baby. As we reached the truck, Codex smiled and waved to the male cop and Satu rolled his eyes.

“Cam! Leave our girlfriend’s truck alone.” Satu said as he rolled his eyes.

“Girlfriend? I thought that you two were mates,” Cam the cop said.

“She is our other mate. We are all her mates.” Codex said with a grin, like Cam would know what that meant.

“Wait! What?! Our Queen is your mate?” Cam said as he stepped closer to us and smiled.

“Well you are one of the first to know besides our parents.” Satu said as he put his bag into the back of the truck and the others did the same.

“It is a pleasure to meet our soon-to-be Queen,” he said with a slight bow. “If you don’t want people to bow to you, I would advise you to remove the crown, my Queen.”
