When their parents left after dinner, we all settled into the living room and hashed out a plan to find the lady who might know where my mother is. We decided to go to Des Moines first and then branch out from there. The trip back to Des Moines area would take about five hours and Codex’s dad brought over the SUV they had so we could leave my truck at the house. We would all drive in shifts and since we would be going right near Drac’s apartment, we decided to grab his things and stop by Landon’s pack. All of my guys and I decided that we could take an hour or two break there and then get back on the road.

We all did laundry and packed only what we needed. My crowns were a must and so were my necklaces, the guys insisted. After packing we all went to bed and slept in the master bedroom.
