Chapter 10

The next day I woke up early to be able to start cleaning the Garden early, that's where we plan to clean today. There are five garden here at Moonlight. Two in the North, One in the West, one in the South and one at the entrance of the Moonlight. Not including the Garden that Zero and I went to the other day.

Before I left, I cooked breakfast for my friends and left a note that I was about to start cleaning. I used to wake up early because I used to leave home early to go to the market and sell.

"Ms. Moon." I turned to the caller and saw Admin frowning as we turned in front of the door of the Stelers Building.

"Good morning." I greeted and smiled.

"Why did you wake up so early?" He asked as he frowned, he also looked at the broom and dustpan I was holding.

"I woke up really early so I could clean up early and finish early." I said, losing the wrinkle on his forehead.

“Where are your friends?” He asked.

"They're still asleep, they look tired yesterday." I said and smiled. He nodded.

"I'll go now, Have a nice day." I said and paid my respects before turning around, but I also immediately confronted the admin. "Head Admin." I called so he really looked at me. "I want to say something." I said and cast a spell because i don't know where to start, i want to talk to him and this is the right time but my brain isn't working.

"If you could take back the punishment you imposed on my friends, they are not at fault and they were just shocked by what happened. Even if I were the one to clean the whole Moonlight, I would do it." I said reason for that he frowned.

"Are you a hero now?" He asked, shaking my head.

"I'm just thinking about the game next month, if my friends don't train for the game, Moonlight will definitely lose." I said, the wrinkle on his forehead was gone.

"Besides, they are not very good at using their weapons so I hope you will take back the punishment, it's a pity the days go by if they can't get used to it." I said and paid respect then turned away. I have already started walking towards a garden here in the west, this is my priority because it is the smallest garden of Moonlight. It is noteworthy that some of the Moonlight students are already awake and exercising.

Whenever I meet some of them, they avoid me as if I am carrying a contagious disease, while others seem to have nothing, it is normal for them to see me. While a few greeted me.

When I got to the garden I immediately opened the hose and started watering the plant. Unlike Zero and I, the garden I am watering now has only a few flowers but it is colorful and healthy. There are also some butterflies that are here and flying over the flowers.

"The scourge of the earth is here." I looked at the person who spoke but when I looked around someone pushed me causing me to sit in the mud. I looked at who did that and saw a group of women, five of them and the one who sailed with me was a classmate of mine when I was just in school.

"The scourge of the earth sits on its fellow mud." They laughed, I was about to stand up when a woman suddenly stepped on me, causing me to writhe in pain.

"Awww, the ground will hit. Do you want us to help you?" One asked and touched my cheek tightly.

"What do you want?" I asked, a loud slap I received from holding me on the cheek.

"Aww, it hurts? Another one." I received another strong slap before they gnawed my face in the mud. All I can think of now is don’t fight them because I know what my status here, even if it turns the world upside down. I still hit the ground while they were rich.

"Is the land good? Is your neighbor's land good?" Asked the woman holding my hair now. I was devastated when a woman suddenly took the hose and pointed it at me.

"Can you leave now, I still have a lot to do--" I couldn't continue what I was about to say again as they gnawed at me in the mud. No matter what I talk about, they don't listen to me. What have I done wrong to them.

"This is what you'll remember smashing ground." A woman said then I was trampled.

"People like you are still poor. You don't belong here." She said and tried to step on me again. I became weak because of what they did, my tears kept falling, no matter what I stopped them, they're not stopping.

I watched them walk away from me as I sat here in the mud and fainted from what they had done. I pity myself. I can't even defend myself against them. that even if I fought the state of my life would not change that I was just a blow to the ground.

"Moon..." I slowly turned to the person who called me, my tears fell even more when I saw him, why did you come Zero? why did you just come Zero? when I needed you before you did not come. I watched him sit in front of me as he turned to look at me sadly. He wiped my tears with his hand, I saw that it was stained with mud so I slowly took his hand and wiped it.

"Y-your skin shouldn't be covered in mud ....." I said crying but he immediately pulled me closer to him and hugged me.

"I'm sorry." He whispered as he hugged me tightly. My tears flowed even more.

"I'm Sorry, I'm late." He whispered again as he hugged me.
