Chapter Five

Rose woke up in a soft bed. For a second she had forgotten where she was. Scanning the room she saw the light colored walls and a small desk in the corner. She heard soft snoring and saw Ms Deanna laying on the floor next to her.

" Ms Deanna why are you on the floor? Are you ok? whispered Rose

" Oh yes. I am fine. It's going to take me some time to get used to this new living."

Rose knew what she meant. At their own pack one had to stand guard to keep others safe. " I know what you mean. But I know we can do this. Ms D I need to get ready to meet Beta T.j. and check out the orphanage . I want the kids to be and feel safe." smiled Rose

It wasn't long until Rose met Beta T.j. and they had walked down the street stopping at a huge building that housed children and a few widows. Taking a tour around the building. Rose was presently surprised!. It was painted in cheerful colors. Each child had their own space and it had a fantastic smell of chocolate chip cookies that were freshly baked.

He had explained that each child was taught everything from Wolf lore to how to blend into the human world. Smiling the Beta went on about the science,math and history classes as well.

Rose had all of the children from her pack walk around and check things out. Hoping they would let some of their guard down. Most of the kids smiled and wanted to play but that didn't last long when Rose heard some older kids tease them for not having a family.

"What is the meaning of this?" demanded Rose

" Lady stay of pack business. You are not the Luna here." growl some blonde hair blue eyed barbie.

" That's not gonna happen. I know we are guests here but I will not have these children hurt in any way. They lost their only family. . So If you have a problem with these children you can tell your family can come talk to me." growled Rose.

A small crowd began to gather. " Claudia is right. You are a trash. What makes it worse your Alpha was your father. Father like daughter. Just garbage." cackled a man.

"Enough" roared Alpha Kyle. His alpha command began to spread across the pack. "This pack was told we were taking survivors from a nightmare of life. So if this petty bickering doesn't stop you will suffer the consequences." said Alpha Kyle. That's when he pulled back his command.

Kyle looked at Rose. Her eyes began to glow and he could tell she was trying to hold something back.
