Evena stood at the center of the clearing, his cloak blowing slightly in the wind.

The forest was silent, but the tension in the air was heavy.

All around him, werewolves from moonlight pack and the palace waited for his command.

Some shifted in their places, others sniffed the air for a trace of Benji or Luna Rosa.

Evena raised her hand. "We search every corner, north, south, east, west. Don’t leave any part untouched."

The wolves nodded. Some shifted into their wolf forms, ready to begin. Others followed the scent trails, their eyes focused and alert.

"They couldn’t have gotten far," Evena said. "If they used sleeping powder, they’ll keep them close for now."

He looked over at Alpha Rafaele. He gave him a firm nod. "We’ll bring them home."

Evena’s face stayed calm, but deep inside, worry filled him. They needed to find the prince soon otherwise nobody would survive the king's wrath.

“Go,” He ordered, and the search party scattered.
