-The Trio-

Jc was walking down the stairs outside the building when he saw a familiar SUV waiting where it was before.

Fatty lowers the window as Jc approaches the car.

"Big bro, done with your business? Let me ride you home!" Said fatty, opening the door.

"Why are you still here?"

"Ah-Come! Let's get on the car first, I'll tell you."

He got out of the car and pushed Jc inside. Peering around the building for a sec then he jumped in as the door close.

"Did you saw 'P'Emily' there?" Fatty asked in excitement.

"Family? Oh yeah, I did! And a chaotic one at that."

"WHAT?! YOU VILE BEAST!!"

#####

"How much for that, Sir?"

The vendor gestured the price in his fingers.

"Okay... Thank you." Jc, holding a plastic bag with two porridge, went straight to the nearest hospital.

After confirming his father's situation, he went to its ward and peeked at the door to see his parents sleeping.

He gently enters inside and places the food at the table. He glanced at his father, then at his mother, and saw she didn't have a blanket.

Because the ward ran out of extra blankets, he thought of just asking at the counter for one.

"Miss, your signature!"

As he was walking down the hallway, he heard a nurse shout at someone. But none of it concerned him.

Or so he thought.

"Do you have an extra blanket? Our room run out." Jc tapped on the counter to asked someone.

"We have, Sir. Wait for a while."

"Okay."

After a minute, the nurse came back holding a blanket.

"Here is the blanket, Sir."

"Thank you."

"Oh, and Sir, your father will be transferred tomorrow to a VIP ward. We only need your sign here." The nurse took out a form and showed it to him.

Before he even opened his mouth, as if the nurse knew what he was going to say.

"And Don't worry about the cost, Sir. Your relative already paid for the room until your father completely recovered."

A look of doubt appeared on his face after hearing this. He took the form, still hugging the blanket while he read.

"Why is the payer's name blank?"

"We also don't know. Nevertheless, it has the signature of the CEO of this hospital already after it filled out the form. So it was approved by the doctor overseeing your father's condition." Also confused as the nurse said.

"I don't know who it was. But free is free! Thanks, is that all? I just have to sign, right?"

"Yes, Sir."

Jc returns to his parent's ward.

And after covering his mom with a blanket, he left the room.

As he left the hospital, he lit up a cigarette and walked on the street aimlessly.

"CEO, huh? I can't believe these things happen in real life. Let's not bother with supernatural things. Even scientists had a hard time figuring them out, so why should we."

He talks to himself as he walks along the street.

*Tap!*

He stopped as someone interrupted him by tapping from the shoulder, but he already knew who it was and said.

"Sorry..."

"Let's talk somewhere else."

#####

*Bam!*

*Bam!*

*Bam!*

In a dark, crowded dead-end alley, three men were ganging up on someone.

They kept punching and kicking him continuously till he coughed blood.

The three halted their assault.

"We...We disbanded for quite a while now." Said a man with a cap on who was gasping for air.

"The gang looked everywhere for you till one by one, only the three of us left, hoping we could hear your explanation."

"Just, so you know, big bro. It wasn't me who punched you the hardest in the stomach just now. I only hit you once."

The other two glared at the curly man who just spoke.

*Cough!*

The man who got beaten up and coughing is none other than, Jc. He came here voluntarily because he knew these people better than their parents.

Jc just smiled at the conversation of the three as they helped him stand up.

"Did you all eat?" Asked Jc as he balanced his body in pain.

The trio shook their head simultaneously.

After escorting him outside the alley, the trio suggested going to the hospital, but he rejected and said.

"I'll be fine. I will only rest here for a bit before going. Remember to meet me at the address. I told you about tomorrow!"

The trio insisted on going to the hospital.

"Go! I abandon you guys. Don't make it a 2nd time now, Haha. Plus, I also came up with that rule so, I deserved it. If you don't go, the punch from earlier, I will settle that score tomorrow!" Acting angry as he those words.

The trio shivered at the thought of their brother beating them up. They quickly walk off while looking back from time to time, only to see a smile and a waving hand at them.

Seeing the trio disappeared in the distance, he sits on the sidewalk and remembers the time he met them. Felling guilty again, just like that time.

After the things that happened, the time he wanted to end it all.

As he was going home after being expelled, he saw the trio being ganged upon by a group of five students bigger than them just outside the school. However, he just glanced at them then continued to walk, or so he wanted to do.

He approached one of five students and punched him hard in the face. Then he Usain bolt away. He did this because the eyes of the three are like his eyes, helpless of hope.

Staring at their savior, who was running away, followed by the five bullies. That was the day the trio kept bothering Jc after finding out his address. he was their hero even tho he ran away like a coward.

Jc became friends with them. The trio was an orphan, so after knowing their big bro's situation. They too left the school, and Jc was angry, but it didn't last long. Because when he saw their faces, they never showed any regret.

The four of them went on part-time jobs, left the orphan, rented an apartment big for the trio to live in, learned martial arts, and built their gang, not the gang you think of but a gathering for the weak. They helped every in need.

He lived that way for two years, just to survived physically and emotionally.

"Idiot..."

He heard a voice before passing out.
