Jasmine has no idea on how she was ever going to make her escape from the blood moon pack, even though she was determined to leave, she didn't know how that was going to be possible, not until the perfect moment came knocking on her door; a party Stephan was hosting in a few days time.
Her joy knew no bounds when she heard the news about the party, a massive party where other alpha's from neighboring packs will be in attendance, even most of the strongest alpha's. It appears that the moon goddess was on her side this time, and her golden plan was to escape when the party was at its peak because she was so sure her presence wouldn't be noticed then.
Jasmine began counting the days until the night of the party; a night that would mark a new beginning for her and the child in her womb. For the next few days, she did her best to not overwork herself, and she began eating well, even though all that's always left for her were leftovers. She didn't let that discourage her and ate those leftovers with happiness, all for the sake of her child.
The day for the party finally arrived. The entire pack was so busy trying to put everything in place and making sure nothing was improper and that nothing went wrong with this party. If anything were to go wrong, Stephan would definitely have all the workers' heads served on a silver platter.
Surprisingly, no one really paid any attention to Jasmine on this particular day, they hardly gave her any work to do, and it's all because they didn't trust her to not make a mistake on this day. After all, who would want to get punished over the mistake of one silly omega.
Jasmine was smart enough to use her leisure time well. While everyone went about with the decorations, she was busy packing the little stuff she had, and also stole enough food to keep her moving for a few days.
She didn't step out of her room for the whole day, and it did surprise her that not a single person came to look for her.
According to her plan, she did wait until the party was at its peak before taking her little bag and sneaking out of her room. Before making her way out of the pack house, she said a silent prayer to the moon goddess, asking that she protect her on this journey, and if not for anything else but for the sake of her baby.
As she had predicted earlier, the entire pack was at the party and there were only a few guards left to guard the pack. It shouldn't be too difficult getting away from them.
To mask her scent, Jasmine had to apply mud on her hands, face, and clothes. She already knows the pack like the back of her hands and knows the perfect route to take; a part with hardly any guards around there.
Jasmine hurriedly made her way into the woods, she had no idea where she was going to go, but for now, her top priority was getting far away from this pack, to a place Stephan will never ever find her.
If it hadn't been for the moon that was shining so bright, she would have been blinded by the darkness, and without a wolf, her senses weren't as sharp.
Jasmine has no idea how far she's gone, but she could no longer hear the music that was being played in the pack, so that gave her some hope that she must have gotten a bit far from the pack. She was getting tired, and her stomach was starting to growl in hunger, but she couldn't stop now…. Not yet, not until she completely makes her escape from the blood moon pack.
“Please give me the strength I need, moon goddess.” She prayed silently, also hoping that nothing happened to her baby on this journey.
She really thought she could manage to do it; gather enough strength to keep moving. But her legs were so tired, and she knew that if she didn't stop for a little rest, she might actually pass out from exhaustion; that's the last thing she needs right now.
For the sake of her child, Jasmine decides to stop and rest for a few minutes, it'll only be a few minutes, then she'll continue her journey. Just as she was about to take a sit on the floor, she heard something snapping and instantly became alert.
Jasmine frantically looked around her, searching for the cause of the sound. Her heart was starting to race so fast and panic was already setting in, but she convinced herself to keep calm.
The snapping sound came again, increasing her fear. She fearfully looked around and found a stick, then she picked it up and pointed it forward.
“Who's there?” Jasmine questioned, her voice trembling due to fear. “Who's there? Show yourself!'' Her whole body was literally shaking due to her fear of the unknown.
For a moment, everywhere seems to have gone quiet, too quiet for her liking. Suddenly, three men emerged from the woods, whistling and laughing.
“Hey, look, it's a pretty one.” One of the men said.
Jasmine slowly moved back in fear, still pointing the stick at them like she could even do anything with it. “P… please, I don't want any trouble, I just want to be on my way.” From their appearance, even though their faces weren't clearly visible, she could tell they were rogues.
“Trouble?” Another said as he took a step forward. “We don't want any trouble either, we just want to have a little fun with you.” He chuckled loudly, and the other two joined in laughing along.
“Please.” Jasmine pleaded, her eyes stinging with unshed tears. “I just want to be on my way, that's all I ask.” She cried.
She sincerely feared what these men would do to her, but she didn't mind pleading with them for her life and for them to just let her go.
“Trust me, lady, you will be on your way, but only after we've had our fun with you.” The man replied, he then let out a loud howl before they surrounded her.
Jasmine didn't know what to do, she kept turning around as she fearfully thought of what to do and how to escape them, but it turns out she's the only vulnerable person here, and with no wolf, she wouldn't be able to defend herself from these rogues.
The realization of what her fate would be was hitting her so hard. She's made a promise to not let anything happen to her child, so even though this was already a lost fight, she needs to try to defend herself.
Her heart cried out to the moon goddess to send help to her.
“This can't happen. It just can't!” She muttered as hot tears streamed down her cheeks.
In a loud voice, Jasmine began crying out for help, but the rogues could only laugh at her as they watched her cry out for help. They told her that no one would be coming to save her in these woods.
They toyed with her for a while, pretending to launch at her, and enjoyed watching her screaming and moving back in fear. Nothing excites them more than seeing a weak prey, it's what makes this even much fun for them.
When they seemed to have had enough of toying with Jasmine, one of the men launched at her, roughly grabbing her and shoving her to the ground. He howled once more before getting on top of her and pinning her hands above her head, giving her no chance to struggle with him.
The plan was to take their turns on her and have fun until they've had enough of her.
Jasmine trashed the air with her legs, screaming and pleading for the man to let her go.
“Please…. Please let me go.” She cried, but her pleas fell on deaf ears.
“No, princess. Not until we've all had a taste of you.'' He replied, then he began undressing, getting ready to have his way with her.
Just when she thought her life was finally getting better, that was when fate decided to trick her once more.Jasmine recalled her promise to protect her baby. She gathered all the strength she had left in her and while the man was frantically undressing himself, Jasmine slapped him hard, she then pushed him off her and dragged herself up.She wanted to run away but got caught by the other two men. Jasmine tried fighting them off, she screamed at the top of her lungs; asking them to let her go, but instead she got slapped by one of them. The other man whom she had hit hurriedly stood up, he roughly grabbed her hand and turned her to him, then he also slapped her.“How dare you, bitch!” He thundered.Jasmine was crying bitterly. She hated herself for being so weak. If only she had a wolf, then she would have been able to defend herself from these rogues.“I was thinking of going easy on you, but since you want to do this the hard way, I'm going to make sure you regret your actions.” T
As they entered the Crescent moon pack's territory, Jasmine's eyes widened in awe. The pack's sprawling grounds were a masterful blend of wild beauty and organized structure. The air was alive with the sweet scent of blooming wildflowers and the soft rustle of leaves. The overall effect was breathtaking, a harmonious fusion of wilderness and wonder. When the car finally stopped, Nicolai got out first before going to help Jasmine out.“We should get you checked up first.” He said to her,“What?” Jasmine furrowed her brow, confused.“I mean, I'm going to take you to the pack doctor to examine you and get you treated if you have any injuries.'' He explained.Jasmine nods in understanding, she has no problem with this, at least she'll be able to know how her baby is doing. She placed her hand on her tummy as she followed Nicolai to the pack hospital.***Jasmine didn't expect the pack hospital to be as huge as it was, the one in her pack wasn't even up to this. Everything about the Cresce
Stephan was in his room making out with his mistress Laura when a knock on his door interrupted them."Alpha!" A voice called from outside."Damn it!" Stephan spat in annoyance. "What could be the problem now?" He pulled away from Laura's embrace and wanted to go answer the door, but was immediately stopped by Laura."Why don't you just leave it. You can always tend to those business later." She said, seductively trailing her finger tips down his chest.Stephan smirked, then he kissed her. "I'll be back." He got down from the bed and went to answer the door.Laura scoffed. "Mood killer!" She whispered."This better be important." Stephan warned the guard the moment he opened the door."I sincerely apologize for the disturbance, Alpha. I came to inform you that Jasmine is nowhere to be found. We've scanned the whole area, but there's no sight of her anywhere.""What? What do you mean she's nowhere to be found!? Where could she have gone to?""We have no idea, Alpha. But we suspect that
"Wow! It's really way more complicated than I thought." Kent said, he was now sitting beside Nicolai on his bed. "So you're saying she's not only a rejected mate, but also an expecting mother! What kind of idiot will do that to his own mate?" He ran his hand through his hair in frustration. "I feel so sorry for her, she doesn't deserve all that, and I'm glad you helped her." He looked at Nicolai. After narrating the whole story to Kent, Nicolai suddenly fell silent."I want to ask you a question, Nicolai." Nicolai sighed deeply. "What's it?""I know you helped her, and we can't also deny the fact that she's your second chance mate, but do you have any intention of ever accepting her as you mate, and I'm pretty sure you know the reason I'm asking you this question. What will you do about her?" Nicolai didn't have to think too much about his reply. "No. I may not be able to accept her as my mate, but I'm going to help her and make sure she's alright." He replied. "You know, Kent. I co
After making sure that Jasmine's food has been served, Nicolai excused himself from the dining room, saying he's got an urgent matter that he needs to take care of, but he promised her that he'll be back in time to take her to the hospital.Jasmine didn't want him to leave her all alone, but she doesn't even know how to say the words, so all she could do was to helplessly watch him leave.Thankfully, there weren't anyone else in the dinning room except for her, and that alone was enough to make her feel a little bit relaxed. The aroma of the food filled the air, causing her stomach to grumble. Since she was already salivating due to the sumptuous meals in front of her, Jasmine hurriedly picked her cutlery and digged into the food. While she was busy devouring the dishes in front of her, an unknown voice interrupted her."So you're the one I've been hearing about."Jasmine sharply turned to see an unknown lady standing at the door way. She exuded elegance, her refined features and impe
"Where could that bitch be!?" Stephan muttered to himself as he angrily paced around his room.Laura who was sitting on his bed couldn't help but roll her eyes at his words. "I wonder why he's so bothered about her." She scoffed."I can hear you, Laura." Stephan said with a warning growl.Laura heaved a deep breath. "The guards clearly said that they've searched everywhere for her, but she's nowhere to be found." Laura stated. "Couldn't that mean something? If they can't find her or her dead body, then maybe she's escaped to somewhere else. She could literally be in another pack by now, or maybe other wolves would have made a feast out of her body, after all she's nothing but a helpless omega who can't even fight to save her life.""I still see no reason why you should be stressing yourself about her, and if you badly want to find her that much, why don't you just go see the pack witch or something." She scoffed.Stephan wanted to yell at her and ask her to shut up, but when he heard
Laura paced outside Stephan's mansion, nervously waiting for him to come back since he's been gone for quite sometime. She couldn't stop praying that the pack's priestess shouldn't tell him anything about Jasmine's whereabouts, and even if she wants to tell him anything, let it be the news of her death."This is all my fault! It's all my fault!" She slapped her mouth.Soon, Stephan's car drove into the premises, and Laura was finally able to feel a bit relieved. When Stephan stepped out of his car, she immediately ran to him."Stephan, d...did you find out where she is?" She asked, but Stephan didn't even reply, he just kept walking into the mansion, while Laura followed him, trying to get some answers out of him."Why won't you say anything to me? Remember I was the one who brought the idea of going to see the pack's priestess, so I deserve to know what she told you." She said. They were already at Stephan's room by now, and he hasn't even said a single word to her, he just keeps on
Jasmine was done with her check-up, and Nicolai was currently giving her a tour around the pack."Is it really okay to do this for me? I'm sure you have other important things to do." She said, feeling bad that Nicolai had to trouble himself by giving her a tour when he should be using his time for something important."I'm not complaining, unless you're tired and want to go back home, then I'll take you back. I just want you to know the pack a bit." "Thank you, and I'm not tired, I'm just feeling bad that you have to go through this trouble for me." Jasmine replied."It really is nothing, I just...." Nicolai trailed when he noticed that her shoelace had loosen. Knowing how dangerous it'll be for her if she should trip and fall, he immediately asked her to stop."What's wrong?" "Your shoelace is untied." He was about kneeling to help her tie her shoelace when she stopped him."What are you doing?" Jasmine asked, surprising Nicolai."I want to help you tie your shoelace, I don't want
Stephan sat in his office, the amber liquid in his glass swirling as he took a slow sip. The quiet atmosphere was disrupted by a firm knock at the door. He sighed, placing the bottle aside."Come in." He said, his voice carrying a hint of exhaustion. The door creaked open, revealing Jasmine."Jasmine?" Stephan's eyes widened in surprise. He immediately stood and met her halfway, concern flickering across his face. "How did you find me? I didn't expect to see you. Is everything alright?"Jasmine squared her shoulders, determination evident in her stance. "We need to talk, Stephan. I have this unsettling feeling that there's more to what you told me. I deserve to know everything—the truth about who I am and what my life was like before the accident. No more secrets."Stephan furrowed his brow. "I don't understand. What's wrong? And why do you think I'm keeping things from you?"She inhaled deeply before speaking. "Who is Alpha Nicolai?"Stephan's pupils dilated slightly, the name trigge
"How long will you continue like this, Nick?" Kent asked, obviously annoyed. "You've turned other neighboring packs upside down in your search for Jasmine. You've ruined so many packs even though you know she isn't there. You've caused a lot of damage to those innocent people, and you're not willing to stop.""I already told you, Kent. I'm not taking any chances. I won't stop until Jasmine is found." Nicolai replied, not taking his eyes off his laptop."It's been six months, Nick. Six good months!""And that's what makes this even more frustrating. She's been missing for six months! Do you expect me to just fold my hands and do nothing?" Nicolai replied, angrily closing his laptop. "I know she's out there and I can feel it right here." He placed a finger on his heart. "I won't stop looking until she's found.""Nick—""That's all, Kent. You should leave now, do not make me do something I'm going to regret." Kent held his gaze for a moment, seeing that Nicolai was beyond reasoning, he
A few days later...Stephan has just brought Jasmine home. As she stepped out of the car, she stared at the mansion in front of her in awe."Amazing, right?" Stephan asked when he went to her."Yes." Jasmine smiled. "It's beautiful.""I'm glad you like it because this is your home as well.""And everyone here is—""A werewolf? Yes. But like I told you before, we've got the omegas too.""I remember, those without a wolf." Jasmine repeated the words he'd told her before."Yes, and most of the helpers here are omegas. Come on, I'll show you to your room.'' He took her hand and led her inside.Laura was already waiting for them inside, she wasn't at all pleased to see Jasmine, and her facial expression says it all. She glared hatefully at Jasmine, and it made Jasmine wonder what she might have done to her."This is Laura, a friend of mine who lives here with us." Stephan introduced.Laura scoffed loudly, she eyed Jasmine, hissed and left in anger."I don't think she likes me." Jasmine sta
Three days later....The doctor was busy examining Cruella when Nicolai walked into the room. Cruella's face instantly lit up when she saw him."How's she?" He asked the doctor."She's fine now, Alpha. Her body has healed, but she still needs to get enough rest and take better care of herself." The doctor replied, and Nicolai nodded in understanding.Soon, the doctor left, and when they were finally alone, Nicolai immediately asked Cruella about the poisoning. "Any idea on who might have poisoned you? I've asked the staff and no one seems to know anything.""I don't know, Nick." Cruella replied, her expression sad. "It could have been anyone, after all not all of them like me, and you don't expect whoever did it to simply admit the truth. But it's okay, I'm better now so that's all that matters." She managed to smile. "And you don't have to worry, I'll just stay in the hospital for a while then I'll come get my things and go home."Nicolai heaved a deep breath. "You don't have to do t
A MONTH LATER...Nicolai burst into the hospital, Cruella unconscious in his arms. Nurses rushed to assist, transferring her to a stretcher and wheeling her into the ER. Nicolai followed closely behind, anxiously waiting outside until the doctor arrived."Alpha." The doctor greeted. "What's going on?""I don't know." Nicolai replied. "The maids found her unconscious in her room. I have no idea what happened."The doctor nodded. "I'll examine her and do my best to ensure she's okay."Nicolai waited for over an hour before the doctor emerged from the ER. "How is she?" He asked, standing up from his chair."She's out of danger." The doctor replied, and Nicolai exhaled in relief."Alpha, we found the cause." The doctor continued. "She was poisoned with Wolfsbane. It's fortunate you brought her here in time. We were able to flush it out, but she'll be unconscious for a few days as her body heals."Nicolai's expression darkened. "Poisoned? I...I don't know how that could have happened. She
"So, any news on Stephan?" Nicolai asked as he and Kent entered the company."Nothing yet." Kent replied. "The spies are on him 24/7, and they haven't found anything unusual. Everything seems normal, and I'm starting to think maybe he's telling the truth. I don't think he has Jasmine."Nicolai stopped walking, turning to face Kent. "Then who do you think would have her? Who else is there to suspect except Stephan? She couldn't have disappeared just like that. She would never leave us."Nicolai's frustration was palpable, his voice laced with concern. Kent shook his head. "I don't know, Nick. But if Jasmine is out there somewhere, we can only hope and pray to the goddess that she'll find her way back to us in one piece."Nicolai scoffed, his determination evident. "Sounds like you're starting to lose hope, Kent. I'm not giving up on Jasmine. I want you to keep searching, use every means possible to look for her. I'm not giving up until I find her."Kent nodded. "I'll do as you wish."A
"Alpha, Nicolai. Welcome." Stephan greeted, his lips curled into a fake smile.Nicolai's expression remained neutral as he spoke. "My men will begin the search now, and I hope you won't interfere with our efforts in any way."Stephan raised his hands in a gesture of surrender. "Be my guest. Like I said before, I have nothing to hide.""Well, if that's the case, I trust you won't mind us searching your home as well." Nicolai added, his eyes narrowing slightly.Stephan's smile never wavered. "Not at all."Nicolai turned to Kent, who stood behind him, and gave him a nod. Kent took the cue and yelled out to the men, "Let's move it!" The search began, with Nicolai joining in, frantically searching for Jasmine.Stephan remained calm and collected, his smile of victory still plastered on his face. The search continued for hours, but they couldn't find Jasmine anywhere in the pack. Nicolai's frustration grew, and he was on the verge of losing his mind."Where is she, Kent? Where is she?" He y
Kent called out as he entered the hallway, spotting Cruella ascending the stairs. "Cruella."She turned, her expression puzzled. "Kent?"Kent hastened to meet her, his footsteps echoing off the walls. "We both know we don't see eye-to-eye, so I'll get straight to the point."Cruella folded her arms across her chest, her eyes narrowing slightly as she waited for him to continue."Have you heard from Scott?" Kent asked, his tone urgent. "I know you two are close, so you must know something about him – maybe where he is?"A hint of sarcasm crept into Cruella's voice. "Having trouble in your relationship?"Kent's patience wore thin. "Just answer the question, Cruella."Cruella rolled her eyes. "No, I haven't heard from Scott, and I don't know where he is. I've been trying to reach him, but he's not responding. What's going on? Where is he?"Kent's shoulders slumped, his hopes of finding Scott's whereabouts dashed. "I don't know where he is. He left without a word, and I've been trying to
Stephan and his guards stood outside his home, waiting for Nicolai's arrival. As Nicolai's car came into view, Stephan took a deep, calming breath and steeled himself for the encounter.Kent chuckled. "Looks like he's heavily guarded. Should I call this fear?"Nicolai's expression remained grim. "He'd better be afraid. If I find out he's holding Jasmine captive, nothing will stop me from killing him – not even his guards."As Nicolai stepped out of the car, Stephan approached him, a fake smile plastered on his face. "Alpha Nicolai. I wasn't expecting you. To what do I owe this pleasure?"Nicolai's cold, dangerous gaze cut through Stephan's facade. "Spare me the small talk. I'm here for one reason; Jasmine. I know you're holding her captive, and I'm giving you a choice; let her go, or face the consequences."Stephan's expression transformed into one of genuine confusion. "Jasmine? Why would I be holding her? Isn't she supposed to be with you?"Nicolai's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing
