Emily's point of view:
The present time
Previously from the first chapter.
" I don't care about what she has done or was about to do, all I care about is what you're here for." After he was done speaking, I only nod my head, not beating to add anything else since I know that everything I would say would only get him mad.
" The interview would mean nothing. I've already arranged for you to be accepted. All you have to do is to make sure not to get kicked out. This would be our last and only interaction together in here. Make sure you don't get yourself into trouble..."
This was all he says before the elevator's door was opened.

I followed to where he was going until we reached one office, then wi
Emily's point of view:When I reached home, and I got to say - my home sweet home. The first I've done was to take a cold shower to refresh my body. The water running out of the shower landing on my body did not less than to help me relax, as it gave me that sort of being alive after a sort of exhausting day.The day was a bit intense, seeing the way I was treated by Daniel, but everything eventually ended up in a fine way since I got the job without even trying - and the most important thing is that I did it without causing any trouble.I actually was informed that I would get it easily, especially that Daniel convinced the previous P.A to leave as he provided her with a better job. I don't what could be the better job that could've beat being part of " La source de beauté". Anyway, it's her loss. The thing is that I had to keep at the job as longest as I could be which is a bit hard. First, because I don't know how's going to be
Emily's point of view: Well, my act to gather myself ended up being a failure as he seemed to notice that I was checking him. I tried my best to understand what he was talking about as I focused on the last sentence he started. " ... so I decided to say hello!" Then he extended his hand, showing me a pie dish. " What's this?" I asked him and he started laughing. " As I said before, I saw you early this morning going out - and I learn that you're my new neighbor. My name is Patrick, and I live right next to you, that exact door." He pointed with his head to the door. "I was just thinking to say Hy, and I brought thin with me." I didn't know what to say or to do. I mean, should I just say thanks and move on by closing my door, or that would be rude? I shall probably invite him to drink something. But if I did, Daniel would get mad at me. Well, he would get mad only if he knows that it won't happen. " It's such a lovely gesture from you, Patrick! My name is Emily, and I'm pleased
Emily's point of view:I was setting on the floor with crossed legs while trying to cover my ears using my hands only. I kept that way from about ten minutes until he was over. I stood up hard on my as the silence consumed.Well, not for too long since he decided to finally speak." Just put in mind that I still could destroy you the same way I created you." This was all he said before he left.As I was alone, I started crying on none stop. How did I even end up loving such a hateful man? The same question started playing inside of my mind, not giving me even one mommet of rest. The answer is simple; he wasn't always such a cruel man. There were those times where he showed me kin
Ethen's point of view:The sound of the alarm ringing passes through my ears, informing me that another day has just started. It is funny how the sound was the only thing left to remind me that life goes on, which was something I forgot about the day I lost her.I've lost her I was too weak to be the man I had to be back then, and fight for her. I was too weak to stand against them all and to never let her feel that she's week. I was too weak to have her back when she needed me the most by her side. The moment she left, leaving no trace behind her, I felt that part of my soul was gone with her. I've tried hard to search for her, but I never succeeded in finding her. She was gone - once and for all.I buried myself in my work land trying to
Emily's point of view:I've spent hours in the archives room thinking about what happened today. I can't believe that I've just met Ethen. He changed a lot compared to what I do remember about him. He was just a kid when I last saw him, and now he is a man. You know, the type of men you only see on tv.His black raven hair gives him that vibe of a celebrity. He is indeed a celebrity. His blue ocean eyes look like some expensive jowls designed to fit his very handsome face, the bridge of his nose was created to link his eyes with his perfect lips.Everything about him was heavenly made, even his voice. His voice was able to send shivers down my body, lost in my thoughts as I was when Jenny decided to speak." Already whipped?""Hah?" I sort of knowing what she was meaning. Still, I didn't know what I shall say to her." You should consider yourself lucky! Mr.Night hates when people approached him eve in a nice way, so how about th
Emily's point of view:" Where are you taking me?" I asked Ethen Knight who was dragging me out toward his car. As expected from the knights, I received no answer. The whole situation kind of gave me a sort of deja vu. Daniel never answered the same. I was always following to wherever he was dragging me. For a while I felt like sick from being dragged to wherever other wants to drag me, the reason why I decided to protest. Still, I didn't.I'm here for a reason, and I will do whatever it takes to avenge the people causing my mother's death, and if by smiling to the devil, I get a step toward what I'm aiming for, then I'm ready to pull a smiley mask, not just to fake a smile.I decided to test my luck by asking the same question in a different way." Mr. Knight! I believe that as any other human being, I deserve to know to where I am I heading with you."For a while, I expected that my question would annoy him, yet it didn't. In som
Emily’s point of view: I took my phone between my hands while thinking about what I shall do next. Shall I call Daniel to pick me up, or I would do better by finding a solution for myself by myself. A voice inside of my head was screaming that it isn’t the end of the world. I mean, I’ve been through some serious issues and I never failed to get myself out like there was nothing so serious. Lost in my thoughts I was, when I finally decided to phone call for a taxi instead of Daniel. I’m still not over what he did last time, so I won't be asking for his help. Besides, if it wasn’t for him trying to get me by his little games stuck at work I wouldn't be stuck with Ethen. When the taxi was here, I felt a bit relieve. I mean, you don't know what can be waiting for you in the darkness of nights. As I got inside of the taxi, I ended up laying my head on the window while waiting to reach my flat. Thinking ab
Emily's point ofview: " Excuse me ma'am, but we've reached the already mentioned destination!" The taxi driver's interruption brought me back out of my memory, which I was thankful for.I pushed away the almost fallen tear I was holding years ago, then I paid for the drive, and went out of it while being gratified that the awful day was eventually over. Again, what I was thinking about wasn't what's truly was happening. As I left the taxi, I met a familiar face. This time it wasn't someone I would hate to meet.Quietly the opposite, it was Patrick. As I was about to greet him, I remember that he might not want to talk to me after what Daniel did to him.
