"I'm not asking for reimbursement," Timothy claimed, with his chin up. "I understand the loss because I am also a company shareholder. I take full responsibility."

As Timothy had expected, the board of directors gave him a difficult time due to his failed business trip. He lost one billion dollars of the potential investment, making them question his capability.

The meeting held him inside the conference room for the rest of the afternoon. Because Timothy wanted to gain back their confidence in him, he did not ask for a single refund, not for the hotel, the flight, the meals, and even his assistant's billable expenses.
