Chapter 34

Ricardo hadn't made another move on Lisa since the first night, which had begun to bother Lisa, but tonight was different. Ricardo moved closer to Lisa and began kissing her the moment he joined her in bed.

Lisa kissed him back, relieved, but the kiss lasted only a few seconds before it stopped.

"Goodnight," Ricardo said as he returned to his side of the bed and drew the blanket over his head.

Lisa sighed, cursing the day she vowed to remain a virgin until she met the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She kept a close eye on Ricardo's breathing until it became shallow.

"No!" Someone yelled, and Lisa turned around on the bed, half-asleep.

"No! No! No!" The voice screamed once more. Lisa opened her eyes worriedly and turned on the bedside lamp.

"No!" The voice shouted again in a terrified voice.

Lisa turned quickly to face the direction from which the voice was coming, and lo and behold, it was Ricardo. <
