Chapter 20 : Speaking her heart

The lights are deemed with a cold breeze waving the curtains of the room when I push the door and walk inside. My eyes land on Chrisanna sleeping soundly on her bed. I smile at her and toss the coat aside, rolling my eyes around to find Ivanna.

I really regret losing it again. She might be really hurt. And undoubtedly, she might have cried a lot. However, I hope she understood what I was trying to explain to her. I hope she stops thinking that way.

In the meantime, I feel something crashing on my back. As Ivanna's hands slide under my arms and wrap around my torso, I realise she has hugged me from behind, resting her head on my back. I can hear her breathing heavily.

"Where have you been?" She complains, almost sobbing.

"I was around", I whisper.

"Don't go like this. I hate it. I hate it when you walk away in anger", she grunts, both anger and agony visible in her tone.

"Then stop making me angry. Simple", I scoff.

I'm really enjoying the reading of the book. I just don't like you have to pay to enjoying it. it's a very inspiring and rewarding experience of reading it. sometimes I can't get anything done. because I don't won't to stop reading.
