Jackson’s face was as black as the bottom of the pot the more he heard the security guard insult, Amelia. Who gave him the guts to say such things about his daughter?

The security guard was still rambling on under Layla’s encouraging gaze when he felt a sharp pain like a knife cutting his cheek. He was dumbfounded and so was everyone who was there.

He fell on the ground with a thud as he coughed out a mouthful of blood. He had a few fallen teeth and he was on the verge of fainting.

Amelia’s heart trembled when she saw her father beat up the security guard. It was just for a moment before it returned to its indifferent state.

Why was he pretending to be mad now? When she was banished five years ago, didn’t he stand coldly as he watched the drama? The look on his face was as if he could not wait to send her away.

And he divorced her mother, did he even think about how she felt as a daughter? Did he think about protecting his family?
