An anonymous message

Chapter 2

“Rise and shine sleeping beauty “Scarlet heard someone yell and instantly her eyes went open on their own.

She looked around and tried to see who had made that noise but the moment she turned, the beautiful cake was right in front of her.

“Happy anniversary “Everyone yelled at once and burst the bubble on her .

Scarlet tried to think about what was going on .

But when she saw the word anniversary on it, it was as if her memories were suddenly renewed because at that moment she could clearly remember that she was married and today was her anniversary

She smiled at the maids that had made her happy and seeing Kira in front she knew today was going to be the best day of her life, her husband must have returned and asked them to do this.

“ Thank you all “ she whispered as she took the cake from them and cut, earning a clap from them .

Anyone who came to the Shaun mansion now would be surprised by what they had just done .

The workers had done their best to make the young mistress happy even though her husband wasn’t here .

They loved and respected her because of the way she treated them.

Scarlet smiled again and tried looking around and searching for him, but after looking for a while and not seeing him, she felt her hope suddenly go down.

She didn’t what to think that it was what it was , what was going on “

“ Where is he ?” She asked and the room suddenly became silent as almost all the workers turn to look at Kira “

Kira tapped her foot on the floor and looked away, trying her best not to meet her gaze .

“Kira, “ she called .

“ Young mistress , your husband hasn't returned but we decided to celebrate this day for you and tell you how special you are to us , we just hope you don’t get mad “ Kira said .

The room instantly went silent the moment she had finished talking and all that scarlet could do was gazed at the space .

What was going on? Today was their marriage anniversary for goodness sake but nothing from her husband, he didn’t even surprise her like she thought .

Scarlet ignored the workers and quickly grabbed her phone which was just by the stand next to the bed .

She hoped that she saw a message from him , but when she opened her phone , she didn’t see a message from him and not even a single message could be seen from him .

For a while she wondered if this was the same man that she had fallen in love with and gotten married to , she couldn’t even comprehend all that was going on , he forgot today too , their 10th wedding anniversary .

Scarlett felt like she was going crazy because when she tried to send him a message , she discovered that she couldn’t access him and even when she tried to place a call to him , she found out that his line was non accessible and wasn’t going through .

For a moment , she feared that something bad might have happened to her husband , he had never for once ignored her and even still never sent her a text , this was unlike him .

Scarlet quickly rushed to her i*******m but to her greatest surprise she found out that she couldn’t access her husband anymore .

“What was going on ?”

She couldn’t understand it anymore , but before she could search for more , a message suddenly dropped on her W******p .

Scarlett wanted to ignore that message because no one had her W******p number , this was strictly for her and her husband.

She tried to ignore it but somehow , she clicked on it and saw that the message was a file and it was sent from an anonymous person .

Scarlet felt the worst had happened , whoever could send her something like this was someone very close to her because there was no way the person could get her W******p number .

Taking all the fear that she had in her way , she immediately clicked on the file and waited for it to load and when it eventually did , she met the worst shock of her life .

She couldn’t believe what she had seen , for a while she wished that this was photoshopped but she knew an edited photo when she saw one , but this wasn’t an edited picture and staring at it , she still found it so hard to believe , this couldn’t be her husband .

Still in her state of contemplation, the same person sent in another file , this time around it wasn’t a picture but a live video and there was her husband smartly dressed on a black suit and tie , while the lady beside him wore a beautiful wedding gown and they both held a baby in their arms , about some months old and a another baby girl of about 5 years was standing there and the baby girl called him daddy , and he didn’t hesitate to show his smile as he kissed her cheeks .

At that moment all that she could see was her own life flashing before her own eyes .

She felt her heart going into different pieces , she couldn’t believe that her husband could be this cruel to her , not after all that she had done , what did she do to deserve this .

“Young mistress , please breathe, you are having a panic attack “she heard one of the maids scream and within the next few minutes , she was surrounded by the workers , who tried their best to calm her down .

When she finally calmed her down , she gave her phone to Kira .

“ Take this to Neo and tell him to track the location of this file “she ordered the maid , who immediately took the phone from her and dashed out of the room immediately .

Though her emotions were getting the best of her , but she swore never to cry , she just wanted to be sure that all that she had seen was true , if truly her husband was getting married to another woman then she had to see for herself , she wanted to know who that woman was and why her husband had decided to leave her for another .
