I stared at my reflection the mirror, stunned. I looked...beautiful. I felt beautiful.

My hair was tied up into a sleek high ponytail with a side part swoop decorated with rhinestones. My makeup was minimal and natural but elegant. The dress Vito had chosen was very simple; a tight ankle length white dress that hugged my body, shaping my figure. It was strapless, because around my neck sat the auction's most prized possession.

I was aware that I was merely a mannequin to display the necklace, but I was a very pretty looking mannequin. I wore very light makeup, little diamond studs and a plain white dress with white heels because the necklace was meant to stand out. My mother entered the room and gasped at the sight of me.
