25. The Study Room

Beta Steve barged into Alpha Maximus's private study room, eager to announce the news he had for him. He slammed the door loudly behind him and walked toward Alpha Maximus, who sat in front of a brown wooden desk, rotating from one angle to another, chewing a pen in his mouth. He seemed to be engrossed in a paper before him. Steve walked briskly, his left hand in his pocket, his shiny black shoes making a clicking sound on the tiled floor as his well-ironed trousers flapped aggressively in the air.
