~~Alex~~

The room was dead quiet except for the soft hum of the monitors and the furious clicking of keys. Every member of the Alpha team was locked in, their faces illuminated by the cold glow of multiple screens. Then, suddenly….

“I’ve got it!” one of the alpha techs shouted, spinning in his chair so fast he nearly fell. “We’ve traced the IP address from that anonymous message!”

I was across the room in a heartbeat. “Where is it coming from?”

The tech swallowed hard, double checking his screen before saying it out loud. “The Yakuza family network, sir. The main branch.”

For a moment, the words didn’t make sense. It felt like static in my head, like I’d misheard him. “Say that again.”

He hesitated, eyes flicking nervously toward me. “The IP originated from the Yakuza clan’s central domain. The encryption level matches theirs no question about it.”

The room went still.

Every head turned toward me, waiting for my reaction. But I just stood there, staring at the monitor, my mind racing

Hope this isn’t a cliffhanger. The anxiety is nerve wracking.

  • Mr. President Has A Baby Bump   One hundred and sixty-seven

~~Alex~~“I think you should sleep… and maybe take a bath.”James’s voice came from behind me, quiet but firm, carrying that usual edge of reason I had learned to hate and need at the same time.I didn’t turn immediately. I was still staring at Jay still waiting for him to move, even a little. His chest rose and fell in those shallow, mechanical rhythms that no longer looked human. The fluorescent lights made his skin look almost translucent. Like he was fading right in front of me.“It won’t come,” I muttered, my throat dry. “Sleep. It never does. Anytime I close my eyes, all I can see is him… in that pool of blood.”I finally turned to look at James, and his expression said everything he didn’t need to. The pity. The worry. The exhaustion.“Alex, man,” he sighed, stepping closer, “you’re doing yourself more harm than good. You haven’t slept in five days since all this began. If this continues, your body’s going to shut down and you won’t be here when he wakes up. Is that what you wa

~~Alex~~I haven’t slept for days now, and my body doesn’t even feel it anymore. It’s like exhaustion gave up on me.The last time I met with Lord Renji, he spoke in nothing but parables like some ancient oracle from a bad mythological movie. He said he’d “get back to me soon,” and now that he finally did, it’s another damn riddle. The Hale shares were saved, thankfully. My parents and the Yakuza managed to secure fifty percent a miracle, considering how fast everything was collapsing. But Jay… Jay wasn’t getting any better. And James, despite his calm and confident tone, couldn’t hide it from me anymore. The look in his eyes said it all he wasn’t sure if the baby would make it either.God, or whoever’s writing my story, must really hate me.Because it feels like every time I start to breathe, something comes along to choke me again.Maybe I deserve it. Maybe happiness was never part of my script. The room was too quiet. The kind of silence that feels alive like it’s mocking you for s

Third Person POVThe storm outside rattled the steel shutters of the old facility, a low thunder rolling like distant artillery fire. Inside, the hum of machines mixed with the clink of metal, the rhythm of men preparing for something far larger than revenge.Gabriel sat on the edge of the operations table, flipping through an old, half-torn file labeled Project H Lineage. His expression was unreadable the face of a man whose patience had become his most dangerous weapon.Behind him, Elijah leaned against a pillar, arms folded, watching his brother in silence. The screens around them flickered with surveillance feeds hospitals, airports, and the cold-blue logo of Hale Corporation. For a moment, no one spoke. Then Elijah broke the silence.“You remember how this all started?” he asked, his voice low, almost nostalgic. “Lisa’s infiltration. Back when this was just about access not chaos.”Gabriel’s mouth twitched. “How could I forget? The day I sent our dear cousin to play house with th

Third Person POVThe night stretched long and thin across the city a bruised skyline bleeding into shadows. Deep beneath it, in the underbelly of an abandoned industrial complex, the hum of generators echoed like a pulse.Gabriel stood before the wall of screens, his reflection fractured across half a dozen live feeds. Hale Corporation’s emblem blinked faintly on one of them, and his jaw tightened until the muscle near his ear twitched.“Thirty years,” he muttered, voice low, razor-sharp. “Thirty years, and the bastard still breathes freely.” He was very angry that the Fisher and the Yakuza has gotten themselves in a battle that was never their cup of tea…. This shit was so upsetting.Behind him, Elijah leaned against a steel column, the flickering light catching the scar running from his temple down to his jaw a souvenir of the world Richard Hale had built and left them to rot in.“We waited for this,” Elijah said quietly, his voice a low rumble that seemed to vibrate through the wal

Third Person POVThe message on his phone glared up at him red letters pulsing like a heartbeat.“We warned you, Father. You didn’t listen. Now the bloodline pays the price.”For a long moment, he couldn’t breathe. The walls of his study seemed to close in, every memory pressing against him like invisible hands. He sank into his chair, his trembling fingers pressing against his temples.“Bloodline…” he muttered. The word echoed in his head a word he hadn’t heard in decades. And with it came the one name he had buried deeper than any sin.Amara.The name hit him like a bullet to the chest. It was years ago before the business empire, before Eleanor, before the Hale name became something people feared to cross.Back when he was just Richard, a sharp eyed heir trying to make a name for himself. And Amara… she had been the fire he could never tame.Daughter of the Saito clan, one of the most powerful mafia families in the East. She was wild, beautiful, and dangerous in all the ways that m

Third Person POV“What the hell do you mean?” Richard Hale’s voice thundered through the study the few minutes Eleanor stepped inside. His expression was a storm of confusion and irritation the kind of expression that used to make board members tremble, but right now only made Eleanor’s stomach twist harder. She stood near the door, pale, exhausted, her eyes still carrying the weight of tears that hadn’t yet fallen.“What I mean,” she began quietly, “is that I just came from my uncle’s house and I want to know what kind of game you’ve been playing with our family’s life.”Richard blinked, taken aback by her tone. “Eleanor, what the hell are you talking about?”“I’m talking about our children,” she said, her voice trembling but clear. “I’m talking about Jay and Lena lying unconscious in a hospital bed while our company bleeds in the stock market.” Her fingers dug into her purse strap as she took a shaky breath. “I’m talking about finding out that our son—” she hesitated, choking on the
