~~Alex~~

The sun had barely risen when my car rolled to a stop in front of my family estate.

The house was quiet, peaceful even, with the early light glinting off the silver gates and the soft hum of the fountains echoing through the courtyard. But inside me, there was no peace only the steady pounding of urgency that refused to let go.

I hadn’t slept. Not even for a minute.

Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Jay pale, unmoving, surrounded by tubes and wires. I saw Lena too, her body trembling under the harsh glow of the surgery room. James’s words kept looping in my head: “We may lose him and the babies if he doesn’t wake up soon.”

The babies.

Our babies.

I took a deep breath and pushed open the grand glass doors. The familiar scent of coffee and the faint sound of the morning news filled the air. My father, Chairman Fisher, was already seated at the head of the dining table, reading through his usual stack of financial reports. My mother sat opposite him, elegant as always, sipping

  • Mr. President Has A Baby Bump   One hundred and seventy

~~ Alex~~Leaving Jay alone at home in that fragile, coma-ridden state tore me apart more than anything ever could. But after managing to get three hours of sleep, I felt a little lighter, a little less like I was living on borrowed strength.Still, sitting across from him the man who’d made Jay’s childhood a quiet hell made my blood burn.Richard Hale.A man too proud to see the cracks in his own legacy, too blind to notice the pain he caused his children. And now, he had the nerve to act clueless, pretending he didn’t understand why Jay was in a coma, why his family was crumbling, why everything around him reeked of consequence. The anger in me was steady not explosive, but dangerous.I leaned forward, elbows resting on my knees, eyes fixed on his face.“Can you tell me something, sir?” I asked, my tone calm but sharp enough to cut. “Do you have any children before Jay and Lena?” For a second, he didn’t answer. Just stared at me like I’d slapped him. He keeps going on with no way s

Third Person POVRichard Hale had become a shadow of himself. The proud man who once commanded boardrooms with a single cold glance now looked like a shell a figure built of regret, exhaustion, and unanswered questions. His suits still fit, perfectly pressed, his tie still knotted with precision, but there was no life behind the perfection. Just an emptiness that seemed to hum beneath his skin.At least his company had been saved for now.The shares had stabilized. The crisis had been patched together by invisible hands mostly the Fishers, whose sudden “generosity” unsettled him more than the danger itself. He didn’t understand why they were helping. They’d always been competitors since the engagement got canceled, not allies. And Alex Fisher was the last person Richard wanted to owe anything to.But even that wasn’t the hardest truth to live with.No. The hardest thing was that he hadn’t even been able to see his children since the day Eleanor told him everything.Jay, his only son p

~~Jay~~ (Dreamscape) Everything was white. Not the kind of white that meant peace this was endless, suffocating, blinding. It stretched in every direction, swallowing sound, swallowing breath, swallowing me. I didn’t know where I was. Or who I was. The only thing that felt real was the echo of a voice broken, deep, trembling with something that almost sounded like love. “Please… come back to me.” The voice cut through the fog like a knife, and for a second, I thought I felt warmth. It started in my chest and spread outward faint, flickering as if something inside me remembered what it meant to live. I wanted to move toward it. To reach the sound. But my body refused me. My legs felt like shadows, my hands like air. No matter how I tried, I couldn’t move. And still, the voice kept coming. “Jay… I miss you.” I knew that name. Jay. Was that me? Something cracked in the distance a thin, sharp sound that broke through the fog like glass splitting under pressure. When I looked

~~Alex~~“I think you should sleep… and maybe take a bath.”James’s voice came from behind me, quiet but firm, carrying that usual edge of reason I had learned to hate and need at the same time.I didn’t turn immediately. I was still staring at Jay still waiting for him to move, even a little. His chest rose and fell in those shallow, mechanical rhythms that no longer looked human. The fluorescent lights made his skin look almost translucent. Like he was fading right in front of me.“It won’t come,” I muttered, my throat dry. “Sleep. It never does. Anytime I close my eyes, all I can see is him… in that pool of blood.”I finally turned to look at James, and his expression said everything he didn’t need to. The pity. The worry. The exhaustion.“Alex, man,” he sighed, stepping closer, “you’re doing yourself more harm than good. You haven’t slept in five days since all this began. If this continues, your body’s going to shut down and you won’t be here when he wakes up. Is that what you wa

~~Alex~~I haven’t slept for days now, and my body doesn’t even feel it anymore. It’s like exhaustion gave up on me.The last time I met with Lord Renji, he spoke in nothing but parables like some ancient oracle from a bad mythological movie. He said he’d “get back to me soon,” and now that he finally did, it’s another damn riddle. The Hale shares were saved, thankfully. My parents and the Yakuza managed to secure fifty percent a miracle, considering how fast everything was collapsing. But Jay… Jay wasn’t getting any better. And James, despite his calm and confident tone, couldn’t hide it from me anymore. The look in his eyes said it all he wasn’t sure if the baby would make it either.God, or whoever’s writing my story, must really hate me.Because it feels like every time I start to breathe, something comes along to choke me again.Maybe I deserve it. Maybe happiness was never part of my script. The room was too quiet. The kind of silence that feels alive like it’s mocking you for s

Third Person POVThe storm outside rattled the steel shutters of the old facility, a low thunder rolling like distant artillery fire. Inside, the hum of machines mixed with the clink of metal, the rhythm of men preparing for something far larger than revenge.Gabriel sat on the edge of the operations table, flipping through an old, half-torn file labeled Project H Lineage. His expression was unreadable the face of a man whose patience had become his most dangerous weapon.Behind him, Elijah leaned against a pillar, arms folded, watching his brother in silence. The screens around them flickered with surveillance feeds hospitals, airports, and the cold-blue logo of Hale Corporation. For a moment, no one spoke. Then Elijah broke the silence.“You remember how this all started?” he asked, his voice low, almost nostalgic. “Lisa’s infiltration. Back when this was just about access not chaos.”Gabriel’s mouth twitched. “How could I forget? The day I sent our dear cousin to play house with th
