Noah's POV

Almost immediately, a flash came to my head. It was the same memory from last night.

The one where Elena had given me something to drink. What I suspected was the reason why my memories weren't coming back.

Now Layla was giving me something too.

A drink just as Elena had.

Was it the same thing?

A thought came to my head.

I lifted the cup, brought it to my lips, and took a sip.

If it were the same thing, I would know very soon.

Maybe it was just my sight... But I saw a small smile appear on her lips.
