Chapter 27

There was not a single sound coming from the surroundings. There was absolutely no sound that could be picked up.

The conversations, as well as the music.

The only feelings she could detect were the heat from his lips and the aroma of wine on the very tip of his tongue.

Regarding him, it appeared as though he was unable to refrain from kissing her.

Because he was constrained all the time, he had initially believed that the reason he was so fascinated with her lips was because of this. And the feeling of her lips seduced him to the point where he was no longer in control of himself.

But why did he act in such a way this time?

Even to himself, he was at a loss for words.

When the dance was over, she was led clumsily off of the dance floor, but she did not appear to fully recover from her state of confusion.

She was still getting stares from the people around her, but she wasn't in the mood to pay attention to them just now.
