Massimo’s POV

“Are you suddenly deaf, Mr Grey?!” Lux barked at me, causing a few of his minions around us to burst into laughter, and even as insulting as that sounded, I still couldn’t find it in me to be mad.

Right now, all I could think of was Dylan, my younger cousin who at this moment was standing behind me, putting up a brave front.

I liked how he seemed fearless. I mean, it was in our family lineage to be domineering but at the same time, I knew that Dylan was faking it.

From up here, I could notice the tiny insignificant stuff that no one else could; I could see how his hands shook almost unnoticeably and how his eyebrows twitched now and then.
