Celeste didn't reach out to Damon. She had plenty of ways to check on Serena's condition.

"Mrs. Bishop broke her arm and has been transferred back home from the hospital for recuperation," Nicholas replied when she called him to ask.

A broken arm was troublesome.

Serena was Leo's biological grandmother. But even if a stranger saved Leo, they should thank him in person.
