Trista’s POV

“Liam hasn’t been staying in the pack house,” Hazel said. I glanced again at the open bedroom and the clothes strewn everywhere. Liam was staying here? In this small house?

“What? Why?” I asked.

“Well, ever since his parents came home, things have been…tense, for lack of a better word. They’re not getting along.”

“Hazel,” Liam said, cautioning her to stop talking. Liam was visibly uncomfortable by this conversation.

But Hazel shook her head.

“It’s true, Liam. And Trista has a right to know. As your Beta, I think it’s in your best interest for me to fill Trista in. She should know what she’s walking into.”

Liam pursed his lips for a moment and ran his hands through his hair. But then he nodded at Hazel.

“I suppose you’re right,” he said. “Just…be careful…” he warned. That led me to believe there were things Liam didn’t want me to know about. It made me uneasy. What had they been talking about? A

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 232: The Big Reveal

Trista’s POV She couldn’t be serious? Had I heard her right? Was she actually standing there, claiming that I left Liam? That couldn’t be right. She knew better than that.Felicity glared at me. I was puzzled at first, trying to make sense of what she was saying.“I don’t understand,” I said. This caused her to laugh, a shrill, high, mocking laugh. “You don’t understand,” she mocked. “What is there to understand, Trista. Our son is the Alpha, and you left him for…I don’t even know what that man is…” Felicity visibly shivered. “But he’s some sort of…creature…I know that much.” My mouth fell open! Was this woman for real? She was honestly standing there, accusing me of ruining LIAM’S life and running off with Johnson! This was beyond ridiculous. Nothing could have been further from the truth. “Our poor son. Because of the hurt and damage you caused him, he’s been without a Luna all these years. Sure, there was one woman, right af

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 231: Felicity and Sven

Trista’s POV Liam’s mother, Felicity, scowled at me. Her hands were crossed over her chest, her chin lifted in the air in a haughty way. She was exactly as I remembered her, dressed in a long, garish gown with a gaudy necklace and matching bracelet. Her plain brown hair still had no sheen. Instead, it was frizzy. The only thing different about her was that she had a few more lines around her eyes and mouth. I took a quiet pleasure in this. His father, Sven, also glared at me. He looked the same too, wearing an expensive suit, complete with bow tie. Sven and Felicity had always insisted on dressing formally, no matter the occasion. It was just one of their quirks. They’d wear a gown and suit to a sporting event in the heat of the summer. I never understood it, but hey – they were free to dress however they liked. “Trista,” Felicity said snidely. She glanced at Jules, Billy, and Belle. “To what do we owe this DIS-pleausre.” Rude!Okay, so they weren’t

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 230: Liam’s Confession

Trista’s POV Walking through the streets of the pack was like walking down memory lane for me. I remembered myself as a child, playing down with the other young pups, or going to school, my books tucked under my arms. Then there were all the memories from being Luna. And Liam’s wife. It was so bitter sweet, being there. Part of my heart ached, missing the life I’d had. While the other part was cautious, remembering all the pain Liam had caused me. I glanced at Liam, wondering what he was thinking. Was it weird for him, too? Having me back in the pack after all this time? Was he remembering our time together as Luna and Alpha, and if so, was he nostalgic too? He’d been happy to see me and the kids. I’d seen it on his face when we first walked into the small house. He hadn’t been expecting us, and now that he knew Billy and Belle were his children, he seemed genuinely happy to spend more time with them. His face was different now though. He lo

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 228: Something Isn’t Right

Trista’s POV “Why are we stopping?” Pele asked, but I held up my hand to silence him. Whoever was inside the house was having a heated conversation. Well, from what I could hear, which wasn’t much. But I did hear some sensitive words like ‘alpha’ and ‘military.’ “Just a moment,” I told Pele. I thought I recognized the voices, but that didn’t really make sense. I listened harder. It sounded a lot like Hazel and Liam. That was ridiculous though. Why would they be all the way out here, in this small, ordinary house. As the Alpha and Beta, they should both be in the packhouse. St Pele must have recognized the voices, too because his head turned to the window, where the voices were filtering out. “What is it?” Jules asked. “What’s going on? Why are we stopped?” He was waving his hands out in front of him. Billy and Belle were clung onto his legs, staring at me, wide-eyed. “Sshssh,” I said, silencing him.The two people conti

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 227: A Small House

Trista’s POV I hadn’t known that.Pele had known my father?I blinked at Pele for a moment. I supposed it made sense though. Pele had been a young warrior while my father was still the Gamma. So of course Pele had known my father. I’d just never really thought about it before. I’d always been too fixated on the fact that Pele had taken the Gamma position away from me.But now that he’d mentioned it, I wanted to know more. Pele must have known my father in a way that I didn’t. We continued walking and I asked Pele to tell me more about my father. He was reluctant at first, but eventually, he gave in. “He was a strong Gamma, Trista,” Pele said. “He trained me well. He took a shine to me at a young age, and developed special training activities just for me. He pushed me hard, but it was only because he expected great things from me. I had nothing but the utmost respect for your father.” His words warmed my heart. It was nice to hear my father

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 226: Pack Boundary

Trista’s POV “I can’t just leave Jules here,” I told Pele.Jules looked terrified at the thought of me leaving him all alone.“Don’t go,” he said. “Don’t leave me all alone in the Primordial forest.”I smiled reassuringly at him. I had no intention of doing that. Jules was in danger, with Jake and his men out looking for him, and I felt a sense of responsibility towards him. I couldn’t ask him to just ‘fend for himself.’ So unless Jules could get through the wall, I’d have to stay with Jules. We were right back where we started. Pele glanced at Jules. He had a troubled look on his face. He knew as well as I did that Jules wasn’t really equipped to be just left alone in the middle of the forest.“Is there anything we can do?” I asked. Pele’s face became pensive, then he nodded slowly. “If I give him permission, he can pass through the border wall,” Pele eventually said. That made sense to me, since he was the Gamma and had authority. “My permission su

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 225: Pure Joy

Trista’s POV I walked with Billy over to Pele’s wolf, while Belle rushed over to Jules. She stood protectively behind Jules and watched, her eyes glued on us. I knew that she didn’t like what Billy was doing. Belle was still pretty freaked out by the wolf. But at least she’d calmed down enough to stop crying. Jules too, had his eyes fixed on us. I wasn’t sure what he was thinking, but his expression was a mix of fascination and trepidation. They both stood frozen in place. It was clear that they had no intentions of coming anywhere near this wolf. I wanted to show Belle that there was nothing to be afraid of, though. Maybe if she saw her brother petting the wolf, she’d realize that he wasn’t scary. Plus, I was so proud of Billy for being so brave. Although, I wondered if it was bravery or natural curiosity, since there was a good chance Billy had an instinctual draw to the wolf. He approached slowly. Pele’s wolf averted his eyes

  • My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets   Chapter 224: The Other Side of the Wall

Trista’s POV What? I looked around, confused. I’d…I’d crossed over the boundary wall? But how? That wasn’t possible. The wall was impenetrable to outsiders. And I was no longer a member of the pack. I stopped, stunned. I felt a little strange. My heart was racing. We were both on the other side of the wall? Both Belle and I? She must have crossed through while she was trying to get away from Pele’s wolf. I’d rushed over to her, not even realizing I was passing into the Blue Moon Pack boundary. “That shouldn’t have happened,” Pele’s wolf said in his raspy voice. “I know,” I told him. I touched the air in front of me, expecting to feel something, like an invisible force field. But there was nothing strange about the air. It was so bizarre. Jules, Pele’s wolf, and Billy were only twenty feet away from us. But they were on the other side of the wall, and Belle and I were in the pack boundary. Belle s
