Rhea’s POV

Hazel yells at me fumingly “Well speak dammit! She fucking insulted us just to get us punished or sentenced to death! She did that on purpose!”

“Even if she did, you had no fucking right to do this to me! You were going to kill her! You pushed me out of control! Nothing I say is going to save us because we’re guilty. It’s over Hazel” I told her harshly.

She whimpered in pain. Guilt and blame flooding through me from her as she realized that I was right about everything I just said.

I may have initiated the attack with my own hands and was blinded by rage and hurt too, but I wasn’t going to kill her like Hazel was going to do.

Adrian was staring hard at me, waiting for me to speak for myself and defend my actions. But I chose to remain quiet. I wasn’t going to apologize to that bitch and ask for forgiveness but I wasn’t going to defend myself either because I was at fault.
