Rhea’s POV

His first kiss put out the burning sensation in my heart, while his second kiss ignited the fire back into it, but I never felt happier to have it catch on fire in that sort of way before. A fire that didn’t burn me in pain but burned me with love and affection for the first time.

The kiss made me believe what was real and what wasn’t. The person hugging me to his chest right now, giving me his all, he’s the only real thing in my entire life.

He is my only source of light. My only source of life. And I was clinging to him with everything I had, unafraid to show myself to him anymore. To show him the real Rhea as he put it.

I still don’t believe he should know about what I’ve done in the past. It still scares the hell out of me to come clean about the most disturbing things I’ve committed to a lot of innocent people.

But I wasn’t lying when I said that I seriously could not go through this right now.

I felt like my body and my mind have been through hell and back.
