Betsy's POV

I was utterly tired by the time we returned home that day.

Not only tired, but my thoughts were also more sluggish than normal, and my body hurt in a way I couldn't completely justify. I could not process anything from earlier; everything kept spinning around in my head.

I walked slowly to my room, and I headed straight to my bed. As I lay down, I let out a sigh.
