December 25, 2024. The door to his hotel room slammed behind us with a heavy thud, and before I could even take a breath, Leon had me pinned gently against the wall, and his mouth crashed into mine. I gasped into the kiss, and Leon swallowed the sound like he had been starving for it. His hands slid to my waist, gripping hard enough to make me moan in response, and I felt his body pressed against mine as my thoughts spiraled. God, I wanted this. I wanted him so much. I tried to wipe the entire night off my skin with someone who didn’t lie to me, someone who didn’t betray me, and someone who I probably wouldn’t see again. Leon deepened the kiss, his tongue stroking mine in a slow, hungry sweep that made my knees buckle. I clutched his coat, dragging him closer, so desperate for his comfort. He then suddenly broke the kiss only long enough to breathe against my mouth. “You smelled so good,” he murmured as he sniffed me softly. “And I want all of you,” he said as his hand found the switch. Click. The warm light spilled over us, and for the first time, I saw him clearly. His blue eyes were on me as he paused from the kiss, his forehead still resting against mine, his breath mingling with mine in hot, even bursts. God. He was a beautiful man. His blonde hair was messy from my hands, and his lips swollen from kissing me like he owned my next breath. He looked dangerous yet had the gentlest face I had ever seen. “Aurora…” he whispered, his voice low. I met his blue eyes, but then his gaze dropped to my lips, and I felt my stomach twist so hard I nearly whimpered when he lifted my chin gently with two fingers. “Now I can actually look at you,” he murmured. “And you are… goodness, you are even harder to resist.” “And you are not bad yourself,” I muttered as his thumb brushed my lower lip. “Do you want this?” he asked, and I nodded. “Tell me to stop if you don’t,” he said softly. “Just say the word and I will…” I didn’t speak. I just leaned up and kissed him again, this time hard, telling him everything he needed to know. He let out a growl, or maybe I heard wrong, and his hands grabbed my waist, pulling me against him as he kissed me back with a hunger that made my body shake. “Aurora…” he groaned against my mouth like my name was the last thing holding him together, then his other hand slid down beside the door near my head, caging me in. Leon’s mouth left mine only to trail lower, claiming kisses along my jaw and down to my neck. The first brush of his lips against my throat made me gasp, and I rolled my head backwards, giving him more permission to ruin me. “Aurora, goodness, I can’t believe I found you,” he whispered against my skin, his warm breath sending sparks all the way down my spine. It wasn’t supposed to feel this good, especially with a stranger, but Leon made me wonder if this was the pleasure I had been missing for so long. He kissed me again, his mouth opened wide, and his teeth grazed lightly against my lips before he soothed the spot with his tongue. “Let’s go to bed,” he muttered against my ear, and then I felt his hands tighten on my waist, holding me upright as one slid down under my thighs, and I was off the ground. A startled breath left me as he lifted me effortlessly, my legs instinctively wrapping around his hips. “Leon…” “I’ve got you,” he murmured, his voice low and deep, and it vibrated through me. Then his lips returned to my neck, sucking on it, lingering like he couldn’t choose one spot to leave. My fingers found his hair, tugging him closer, and he groaned against my skin. He didn’t break the trail of kisses even as he carried me across the room. Each step jostled me closer to him, making his mouth press harder against my throat and his breath hitch every time I moved against him. “You drive me insane,” he whispered, and then he leaned in again, kissing me hard as he lowered me onto the bed, his body following, his lips never leaving mine. I couldn’t breathe when Leon’s weight settled over me, the mattress dipping under his knees as he climbed the last inch that separated us. His blue eyes darkened like he was still waiting for me to stop him, but I didn’t. How could I? His hand found my breast through the thin cotton of my tank top, and he rubbed his palm over it just enough to make me tremble so hard I felt it in my bones. My nipple tightened instantly against his fingers, and the slight broken sound that left my throat made his shoulders shudder. “Aurora,” he whispered and kissed my neck. I arched up into his hand, dragging his mouth down to mine. The kiss tasted more like the liquor we both shared that night, and in response, he slid his tongue against mine. I tugged at the hem of his coat, and he pulled it down and yanked off his shirt above his head, and then his bare chest was against mine. My coat also came off first, followed by my tank top, which he peeled off with both hands. He then kissed my collarbone with one of his hands still on my breast. His mouth closed over my nipple, his teeth grazing and his tongue soothing the sting as I cried out his name like a prayer I’d forgotten how to say. My fingers dug into his hair, holding him there, begging without words. Please don’t stop. His hands were everywhere, sliding down my sides and hooking into the waistband of my trousers, then he dragged them down my hips along with my panties. “Leon,” I murmured as the cool air hit me. I shivered against him, but then his palm cupped me, his fingers slipping through my heat, and he groaned against my throat as he kissed me again. “Aurora,” he muttered, his voice rougher this time. “Do you still want this?” I nodded. This was how I was going to cope with my heartbreak, especially since this man made Sawyer seem like nothing. It was just one night, and I knew it would end tonight. There was no way we would ever meet again, especially since he came from another country. “Yes, yes, I want you,” I muttered against him. That was all he needed, and in the blink of an eye, his jeans were gone in seconds, and then he was between my thighs, the blunt heat of him nudging against me. I wrapped my legs around his waist, urging him closer. His hips rolled between my thighs, and I trembled under him, my fingers reaching for his back and clawing his muscles. “Aurora,” he rasped, his eyes changing from blue to golden in an instant. Had I seen that wrong? Was it because I was too drunk? Because there was no way someone with blue eyes suddenly had golden eyes. “Look at me,” he commanded, and I obeyed as if under his command and faced him. “I need… God, I need to mark you,” he said, the words ragged as if he was pleading. “Just here,” he leaned in closer to my neck, and his lips brushed the curve where my neck met my shoulder. “Mark me? What is that? You mean hickey?” I asked, and when he didn’t respond, I figured that was what he meant, so I nodded in response. “Yes, do it.” His eyes grew brighter, and in a blink of the eye, he pushed inside me in one long, slow thrust that tore a cry from my throat. Leon was big, bigger than I imagined and expected. I moaned so loud that my voice echoed through the wall. The stretch burned so perfectly I arched off the bed, my nails raking down his spine. At that moment, he seated himself fully, his hips flush to mine, and then I felt the warmth of his breath on my neck, and what followed next was his teeth sinking into my neck. This was not the hickey I’d ever had. It was different as his teeth sank deep into my neck, pain flaring through me, then it melted into a pleasure that sent my body into convulsions. My eyes rolled back as he sucked hard on my neck, then he kissed me. He had bitten me—and why did I enjoy it? “Leon,” I screamed as he entered me again in one brutal thrust that buried him to the hilt, splitting me open. My back bowed off the mattress, and I felt pain and pleasure colliding so hard that my vision whited out. He didn’t pause and wasn’t gentle as he thrust in deeper, forcing another broken sound from my throat. Each thrust slammed him in time with the pull of his mouth from my neck. Leon fucked me like the bite had unleashed something feral inside of him. Each thrust made my eyes roll back, my screams growing louder. My breasts jolted with every impact, my nipples scraping his chest, and I felt the room spin. I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think, and the only thing I felt was the relentless drive of his body. “Mine,” he growled. “You are mine,” he said possessively in an inhumane voice I found exciting. Yes, for tonight, I thought. I was only there for tonight, because by morning, I would have left. “Leon,” my voice came out as a sob as he continued thrusting inside me. My nails scored bloody lines down his back as he f***ed harder. “Leon,” I cried out again, and he leaned in closer to my neck and kissed where he had bitten me, thrusting fast until my climax tore through me without a warning. I shattered, everything around him in a brutal wave as I screamed into his chest. He followed with a loud growl as his body swelled impossibly thicker, and he spilled his seed deep inside me in hot, endless pulses. Only when the last shudder left him did he pull out, and then I realized that we both had not used a condom. Could this Christmas get any worse?LeonPresent Timeline – December 2025Aurora. The name slipped out of me again before I could stop it. My voice was low and torn straight out of the place in my chest that had been aching for a full year. My eyes narrowed at the sight of her standing there, her eyes wide open and frozen, her breath trembling as if seeing me had shaken the ground beneath her feet. But it wasn’t her shock that hit me the hardest. It was the small weight against my chest. I felt it before I saw it—the tiny pull on my shirt, the soft fingers curling into the fabric as if holding onto me was the most natural thing in the world. I looked down slowly and met a pair of crystal blue eyes staring up at me. Blue eyes that mirrored mine. My heart stopped, and for a moment, I couldn’t move. I just stared at him, at this tiny boy with golden hair and clear blue eyes with a face that somehow felt familiar. And then, something inside me shifted and snapped open like a force I had never felt in my life. My wolf
LeonDecember 24, 2025I woke up to the pale morning light slipping through the hotel curtains. It was warm and soft across my face. Instinctively, my hand reached out to the side where her body should have been, where she had slept curled into me as she belonged there, but my fingers touched only cold, empty sheets. My eyes snapped open immediately, and Aurora wasn’t there. For a second, I didn’t move. I just stared at the indentation on the mattress where her head had rested only hours ago. My heartbeat picked up as confusion settled heavily on my chest. Then I sat up fast, scanning the room. She wasn’t in the bathroom, her belongings were nowhere to be found, and one of her scents drifted through the air the way it had last night when I held her against me. She was… gone.I dragged a hand through my hair and blew out a sharp breath, wondering why she had rushed out so early. She didn’t even leave a note. A part of me should have been annoyed, but I wasn’t. Instead, I grinned as
Aurora, December 1, 2025My heart slammed against my ribs so hard it hurt, and the world around me faded to nothing, leaving only those eyes, that face, and then suddenly I noticed the silence of Noel’s crying as he went still against my chest the second he sensed him. I couldn’t breathe.Because the man I swore I would never see again was standing right here, inches from me, staring at me as the past year collapsed between us in a single heartbeat.“Leon…” the name slipped out of me before I could stop it. “Leon…” I repeated it, softer this time, because maybe saying it twice makes sense of the impossible. Before Leon could answer, the sound of chairs scraping violently across the floor echoed from inside the meeting room, startling the mules that rose behind me, followed by a sudden, unified movement. Everyone had their head bowed, then Rina’s voice rang out, sounding sharp and panicked. “Your Highness!”My eyes snapped wide. Your… what? Did I hear that wrong? I turned toward
Aurora, December 1, 2025 “What are you doing here?” Clara demanded, her perfectly manicured finger stabbing the air in my direction before dropping straight to Noel, who had begun to cry against my chest. “And what is that? You brought a baby here?” I stared down at my baby for a moment, and my breath caught for a second. After more than a year of silence, of healing, and of trying to rebuild what she helped me shatter, I never imagined that the next time I would see her would be inside a conference room on the other side of the world, surrounded by strangers, light, and the heavy expectation of professionalism. It felt wrong and surreal, almost cruel, to be here with her, but I forced myself to keep my gaze steady as I shifted Noel in his carrier, trying to calm him. It just made things worse as he cried harder. “I…” I began trying to say something, but the sound of Noel’s wail rose again, almost like he could feel Clara’s hostility. “I knew this would be a problem when I saw
Aurora, December 1, 2025 My heart froze for a second, and instinctively, my hand flew to the side of my neck where Leon had bitten me that night. I had always assumed it was just a bite and nothing more, but the mark hadn't healed, and recently, it had taken on a more defined shape. It was sharper at the edges, almost like a crescent with tiny branching lines spreading outward. I had no idea what any of that meant, and when people saw it, they told me they loved my tattoo, which was why I didn't bother hiding it."I have no idea what you actually meant by that," I told her.Rina's eyes widened, and she immediately apologized. "I am so sorry. I didn't mean to assume. Forget I said anything. There is a small house prepared for you, and everything is already arranged, so I hope you enjoy your stay in our beautiful city."I nodded quietly, but my mind was spinning with so many thoughts. I tried to focus as Rina began explaining my schedule—daily shots, evening events, private royal ses
AuroraDecember 1, 2025I stepped out of the arrival gate, my breath fogging in the cold December air as I tightened my coat around myself and shifted Noel higher in the soft front baby sling strapped securely to my chest. His small body was warm against me, and his tiny fists clutched the edge of my scarf as if he could sense how overwhelmed I felt.I still couldn't believe I was standing here in Averne, a beautiful city I had only seen through glossy photos and dreamy winter documentaries. It felt surreal, almost unreal. As I walked farther into the bustling airport, I remembered clearly how it all began and the moment I got the email congratulating me on being selected as the lead photographer for Aerne's grand Christmas festival.I had stared at the screen in disbelief, still recovering from childbirth, still trying to figure out my life when Noel was just one month old. And now, months later, I was actually here—spending Christmas in the same city I had only imagined.Noel sudden
