Chapter 37

Outside Ari's apartment, Elliot and his men, including Kyle and Briton, lingered. He's befuddled, hurt, and furious. His mixed emotions are disabling him from thinking clearly. When Matt stepped outside of Ari's apartment, it was a good thing Kyle and Briton were strong enough to stop him from unleashing his wrath on the motherfucker.

Now, after trying to calm his nerves, Elliot seems unable to speak; he has no idea why his plan has gone very wrong again. Tonight was meant to be the night when Ari and he could finally be together. But things just happen, and he finds himself in his car, waiting for her to let him defend himself and hear his side of the story.

He leaned back in his seat and pressed his knuckles together. He's once again itching to vent his hatred and fury. He wants to attack someone so he may forget about his own wounded and shattered heart and ego. His two closest friends are in the car with him, speechless and concerned for him.
